Inquiring minds want to know.

Is Goddess actually Ultimate Reality? Give it some much due thought.

A male God would only displease you with punishment after loving you conditionally, but a female God would only please you with pleasure after loving you unconditionally.

I don't believe in God, I believe in Goddess. I've learned to reject the whole bible not too long ago. Why? 'Cause the writings in it seemed designed to keep you running in circles on what is what really.

To a now much more mature me, it seems as though the bible is full of books of deceptive styled writings. Plus, why would you need a book on God? You don't need a book on Goddess. Why? Cause Goddess is more than likely an unconditional lover. Why should your God make it that you have to repent and believe the gospel? The Gospel is a book of books. You who still believe in God need to question why God is conditional with His love instead of unconditional.

The bible makes God sound man made. I can see why atheists don't believe in God after they read through the bible book.

Your question is not politically correct.
Nowadays we are obliged to accept a person's own statement about their gender identity.

If you take out more ancient mythologies which had both Gods and Goddesses, if I think of a God I don't prescribe a gender to it - at the time the books that make up both the OT and NT were written, the society from which they came and the culture at the time, it was patriarchal, that's how it is. If it had been matriarchal then God might have been defined as a female - again, that's just how it is.

Cause Goddess is more than likely an unconditional lover

I think that's a little more opinionated though.

The part of god we are associated with the moth, the collective consciousness of just this planet, would seem to me it should be female in nature. Mother Earth. Now I do not know what the whole god would be, the collective consciousness of the universe and beyond, that should not be either or, it should be gender neutral. Religion defines how they want to perceive god. They define the properties. I do not believe god has a sex, and if the tiny part of god here were to be classified, I would lean mother or nurturer.

Jehovah would be a definition of the being, but the definition could be a name too. I do not know, I am more interested into learning about gods local presence, the collective conscious of all life on earth, which is bound to god itself.

When you have to change a stinky diaper, do you say Oh god sometimes as you are fanning your nose? So is god a stinky poop?

Because if it was a Goddess that ran the show we would be extinct.

Edit, you know that we would all be killed early on because of some emotional rage that she had. "What? you refuse to worship me? ALL OF YOU MUST DIE!"

Then moments later...

"Why did you all die? I am lonely and I have no one to exult me! I will bring you all back...and you will worship me ... or you will die again!"

Ah the bitter sweetness of misogyny.

Idk man, plenty of woman Ive met require conditions to get their love, all the while mine for them must be unrefutable to the point of like it being a religious conversion.

What was that song...black leather is the new religion!?

Besides there Kali( whose got a death cult supposedly), Lanna(Sumer, whose supposedly a whore that had a huge following of men) , and Sophia who's the definition of " a mother who could only love that face", (almost akin to Jason Vorhees mother in Gnostics).

Which only provides more proof that the bible is man-made and isn't the "word" of God.

I grew up Christian and then rejected the faith and the bible, after "realizing" that it was written by men to control society.

However, that's not quite how it happened. The way the bible came about is more interesting than that.

If you're interested in how we have the bible (just the Old Testament, or Hebrew bible for this video), here is a talk on it by an ancient languages scholar.

Religion is man's way of trying to control and confine the infinite mysticism of existence. All religions suck because they make the inherent mistake of claiming truth. As if truth is this stale old decrepit idea that you must believe in to attain wisdom.

Of course God needs a gender. It compliments that madness that is religion.

Sounds like the ramblings of a pre pubescent teenage girl, no offence but

God identified as a male father because society was patriarchal, had God indentified as female it wouldn’t have worked.
God is unconditional love and it’s not Gods job too pleasure anyone, nor is it a females job to pleasure anyone

God offers unconditional love under the provision you accept it, God doesn’t use force

As for judgement, it’s not a bad thing, fair just judgement is welcomed. God has a right to be angry at those who destroy and damage and kill.

You need to question your beliefs that evil should be mollycoddled, it’s ridiculous and encourages poor behaviour
That and denying justice, support ISIS, KKK, Fascists, street gangs, paedophiles and the like, unconditional love for people who don’t change their lives
Sounds silly

It's neither proof or not proof. I can't remember any part of the Bible where God actually states its gender, can you? The fact the God made man and woman (according to the Bible) would suggest that God could be both, but also could be everything, everything that exists.

For some, (not all) the term "God" encompasses all possibilities and is not necessarily masculine. Goddess on the other hand, specifically implies feminine gender. I'm guessing that is one good reason why. It's just simpler, easier, less confrontational, less conflicting, to just say God and let each individual listener decide for themselves. If someone says He or Him or another signifier pronoun then that's what that person believes. You are still free to believe what you want to believe.

A male God would only displease you with punishment after loving you conditionally, but a female God would only please you with pleasure after loving you unconditionally.

First of all, what an incredibly sexist, and even worse, incorrect, statement.

Second of all, why do you assume unconditional love and unlimited pleasure is good for the development of humankind? Before you answer, try to keep in mind, I'm not saying the alternative you presented is good, either. I think it is false that those are the only 2 options. But it interests me that you feel that other option would be desirable. Why is it that you feel this way?

You seem to believe that a god has to have a gender and personality like humans. Where did you get this idea? It's like you're just making up what you want to believe. I guess you can believe whatever you want but it doesnt make any of it true. Nobody that I am aware of has ever seen or spoken to a god or goddess.

Hail Xod. The sexually ambiguous gender dismorphic deity.

I thought god was already all encompassing in most religions. Neither male nor female, above gender. Usually referred as male yes and also used a female to have a son. That’s not the only way he is said to be able to create. Just saying what I’ve heard.
