This is a quote from another thread that seems to have a place here:

What's up with these worm people? Are they real? Are they alien or some ancient creature that's been around since the dinosaurs? I've heard talk that some people that believe in the Loch Ness type creatures believe there is another form like them that lives underground on land. Has anyone else heard of this or had experience with this??

Has anyone heard of a Loch Ness type creature that lives on land and underground? Seems possible that similar creatures could have evolved and become able to survive on land or perhaps it happened in the reverse and they were on land first? Is it some ancient creature that dates back to the dinosaurs. Is anyone familiar with a dinosaur that lived underground and came up at night to feed??

Yes. And it's only one degree of seperation from Kevin Bacon.

I don't understand? Is this a joke or has Kevin Bacon come out and discussed this topic before?

For what it's worth, it's a movie. A series of them actually. And a former cable show as well.

Tremors. Giant underground worms. Rawr.

I know we could "chicken and egg" this around a while, but I just like to throw out the possibility of cinematic inspiration once in a while when it seems appropriate.

I don't always do it, since people seem to hate it, but there's an X-Files plot behind alot more posts than people care to admit.

Or maybe there's a lot of X-Files episodes modeled off our threads

WOW. That is honking annoying.

Z-man, you made these 6 minutes apart, just in different forums.

Closing this one.
