Utopia Island

What I want this thread to become is the creation of a perfect island nation/utopia.


We will create a hypothetical place that would become a perfect place to live.
Every thing from the islands location to its government to it main mode of transportation will be decided by all of us.

At the conclusion I hope to have a draft of what could be considered a utopia.

Ground rules.

I would like to keep the island within the theoretical limits of current science and technology. (Do not let this dissuade from tacking current technology and science and take it to the next obvious stage)

Do not allow money or resources be come an obstacle to any idea.

If possible try to connect your idea to some thing that already exist or occurred in the past, try to show examples. (This is not a must. If you can’t give an example don’t worry)

Counter arguments are welcomed. If you think some thing won’t work say so. (Counter arguments will be even more welcomed if you give your own solution to the problem.)

(island does not have to be an island “island”. any land mass surrounded by water will do)

Croat were is this isalnd if I may ask and what is its name.

Its in Croatia along the Dalmatian coast. Its name is Dugi Otok. Just one of the thousand beautiful islands there and also where Im from.
