k - i has a problem - and i is drunk - so ATS help me - you are my only hope

premise - in a right angle triangle

TAN x = opposite / adjacent

when x 1 = 45 degrees . opposite[ b 1 ] and adjacent [ c1 ] are identical

now - to combat idiotic sophistry which may claim that adjacent cannpot be measured

is it possible to form an equation to demonstrate the breakdown when :

x 2 = 35

adjacent [ c 2 ] = c 1 + 1111

this is a reall world " problem " - and it should be obvious what the topic is

obviously - b 1 will not = b 2

but thats the point - i needs to show that

so - athematiccal savants of ATS - unleash

TIA

EDIT - correct silly error - i is drunk

The answer is 42-i spent seven and a half million years trying to figure it out.

Drinking and math will never be the answer, when you try to multiply eleventy by forthty then it's time to have a cup of coffee. Trust me no logical reasoning can come from getting wasted, try ritalin that keeps the mind focused, and will keep u awake till eleven in the morning.

Do you have a scientific calculator? That might help and if any member mentions long division I will hunt you down and subject you to cruel and unusual punishments-one being forced to watch the entire Twilight movies.

Get a Ouija board and channel Pythagoras, math is not my strong point and good luck if this is a test question.

Wow.

How do you get in and out of your house, without breaking the "crime scene" tape?

It's easy-i just adjust the height of my jump, fall on my face and realise that I'm at the wrong flat where there is a murder scene.

Then I do a mister bean impersonation and the officers laughter will divert them from my escape.

Who needs math?

Seems quite clear that not everybody needs math:

Also: just because some fish hang-around in schools, doesn't mean they they need math.

is it possible to form an equation to demonstrate the breakdown when :

It would be possible to demonstrate equations if we knew what your notations meant. What is your "x" notation? Is that an angle or is it a side?

athematiccal savants

What? Did you just call me a dirty word? Clean up that word, please.

ETA:
For crying out loud!! Get a crayon and draw a picture!
Right triangle right?
let's pretend that "x" is notation for angle.

when x 1 = 45 degrees . opposite[ b 1 ] and adjacent [ c1 ] are identical

NO. If x 1(angle 1) = 45 degrees, then the other angle would also be 45 degrees. Leg 1 would also equal leg 2. The hypotenuse will never equal the length of one of the legs in that right triangle you just drew with the crayon.

For a 35 degree angle, the opposite side = the adjacent * 0.7 (tan of 35 degrees)

For drunken math, i recommend a splif.

Won't help you solve the problem but will help you not care it exists.

You didn't say if talking about Euclidian or non-Euclidian geometry. Here's a drawing from the flat Earth forum in non-euclidian geometry showing a right triangle with three right angles, none of them are 45 degrees.

Of course the flat earthers say this proves the Earth is flat:

"Why don't you try it on earth? Walk 300 yards, turn 90 degrees, walk 300 more, turn 90 degrees and walk another 300 yards. If you aren't where you started, RE theory is the one that has questions to answer."

OK I admit if 300 yards is 1/4 of the Earth's circumference, this is a problem for the round earth hypothesis, but I'm pretty sure the earth is bigger than that. Flat earthers think the sun is only 3000 miles away so I guess they are used to thinking in small terms.

It's not obvious to me, what's the topic?

So .7 is approximately c1/c1+1111

.7(c1+1111) approx. c1

.7c1+777.7 approx. c1

777.7 approx. .3c1

2592.33 approx. c1

therefore c2 approx. 3703.33
=======
check .7 approx. 2592.33/3703.33 = .69999 approx.

I guess that's it. I must have been drunk before.

I wish my keyboard had an approximate key.
