So asking this question is considered hate speech?

It isn't hate speech, more like retard speech since the head covering doesn't violate the Constitution. But I bet she knew that, hence my comment.

So it's ok for a congress person on the foreign affairs committee to be overtly anti-Semitic or anti-Israel (with an apology) and remain on the committee.

But a news personality can't question a person's adherence to Islamic law without consequences including being removed from the broadcast?

Pirro should run for congress!

Gawd what a mess.

Apparently the meaning has evolved over time, and your definition is not accurate in the present day venacular.

Its literally the definition man..........whether you find it "accurate", or not, its not MY definition.......

You could take the two seconds and do a google search and figure that out........

yes it has evolved over time.........

But the REASON they are all the considered "The Semitic Religions" is exactly why I stated above several times......which is what the question directed at me was.......

The term Semitic religions most commonly refers to the Abrahamic religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Semitic religions may also refer to: Ancient Semitic religion - polytheistic pre-Abrahamic religions practised by ancient Semitic cultures.

Semite, person speaking one of a group of related languages, presumably derived from a common language, Semitic (see Semitic languages). The term came to include Arabs, Akkadians, Canaanites, some Ethiopians, and Aramaean tribes including Hebrews.

What is this thread about ?

Snip talking Pirro or Making excuses for Omar?

Lol.....we can't even seem to come to an agreement on was the term "semitism" specifically means in pesent day usage.

It's hard to have a debate if you can't establish that.

It's like the peace talks during the Korean police action arguing the shape of the table.

First election to Congress, now the removal of an intelligent, accurate TV personality... why is it that wherever Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tliab go, poor judgement and mistakes follow? History will not look kindly on the voters who sent those two to DC, in fact history will likely view those voters with the same disdain as we presently view voters who sent Klansmen to DC many decades ago as the level of hatred and danger to the fabric of freedom in the US is effectively identical.

It has nothing to do with what I find acceptable or accurate. I'll take any definition that ppl agree on at this point.

My question is how can a Christian be accused of being an anti semite for criticizing a Muslim, for example, if they are both semetic peoples?

If your answer is that ppl are not using the term properly, fair enough.

All of these «accusations” and their meanings have been constructed for “political game”, none of those been around before creation of Israel.

Jedge Pirro removed from Fox News after anti-Semitic comments?

When advertisers pull ads from a show or network, because of a talking head running their mouth, someone almost always get thrown under the bus. It's just business....

Ahhh gotta love the crazy left wing mag variety....

Let's not forget they pull those advertisements because the leftwing quacks pressure them too because they want the end all be all on what speech is acceptable

It's all part of the narrative to silence any opposing views or dissent....

The irony is that Shariah law commands Muslims to obey any laws in any country they are a part of

BTW the OP is misleading by saying she was antisemitic. As far as I knew the congresswoman is not a Semite.

Except for the Big3+2 broadcast networks and of course CNN+MSNBC

Those "advertisers" seem to be OK with anything and everything 😎

Can't imagine why 😎

A congress person is a LAW maker, seems questioning a congress person's adherence to Islamic law is valid in that context. Especially from a journalistic point of view.

Although, maybe not in the USA anymore.

Meh

If you look at Fox news.com or watch foxnews, except hannity and some other opinion based shows, they have been gradually moving left for the last few years. In a few more years they will be indistinguishable from CNN.

News content is just the platform to hang advertising on. Rock that boat and you're toast...sorry about the mixed metaphors.

So questioning Islamic attire is anti-Semitic.

Pretty much the dumbest thing I've read all day.
