She should appeal to IS to take care of her kids.

She decided to throw in her lot with them; they should do her the favor of letting her be consistent.

I'm sure ISIS would love to watch her kids, raise them as radicals and pound the # out of them until they eventually strap a vest on and blow up a bunch of innocent people.

Amazing isn't it how these misunderstood little darlings always want to come back home when the going gets tough...or they want free medical help. Not too pious to accept that from the Westerners they hate and want to kill are they? And of course they always use the children for a good dose of emotional blackmail.

"You don't know what you got......til it's gone....."

Accept in this case, it isn't taking some crappy job you think will pan out in the end. It's joining a terrorist organization filled with psychotic imbeciles that turns out to not be ANYTHING you thought it would be.

I have heard about these women and after careful thought and consideration this is how I think they should be treated and considered:

After World War II, when the clean up was starting, there were those women who were part of the propaganda machine who were charged and ultimately convicted. Tokyo Rose comes to mind along with the European counterparts as well.

And in many cases, there were males who left their countries to join and fight and were captured, and then brought back to face justice. So why are these women any different, or that we should show them any difference in treatment of what they have done.

Many of them left their homes, joined and married into this group, and had children. Would they want to leave if ISIS was victorious and actually won?

As sad as this situation is, I do not believe that any of them should be allowed to return home with their children, but should be forced to remain. While there to work to give comfort to all those people who suffered from this, to help rebuild that part of the world and to see the suffering first hand. To deal with the justice of those people who were abused at the hands of ISIS. And then return home to face justice and to start to work to make amends for those who suffered, or lost loved ones having to fight ISIS, and to have their children removed from them, never to see said children ever again.

Keep growing that mullet.

Take in the kids, they are innocent and should not be allowed to be indoctrinated into this IS crap. As for the mother, she made her choice, take the kids, keep her out.

As an Aussie I have to apologize on my nations behalf. We are the most Racist nation in the world, all Asians are slope heads, Americans are septic tanks, Muslims are towel heads, Aboriginals are spear chuckers, the list goes on.

I welcome anyone no matter what creed, as long as they adhere to our laws and respect our culture (sans the racism) then I'm cool. As I said take the kids, leave the mother. Those kids don't need to be chastised, down under we used to pants kids, nowadays the racism is so ingrained kids are calling asian students terms that would make your mother wash your mouth out with soap.

Mullet? Oh nice, you're making assumptions about my socio-economic and racial profile then fusing it with a steretype regarding hairstyles.

As previously stated, not overly patriotic, identify closest with My Maltese heritage and as a result speak a dialect of Arabic which is engrained in our cultural history. Bet that burst your little bubble.

I'm also tonight going to be staying with a Muslim couple I am friends with.

Bet that burst your little bubble.

Why even write out a long winded apology on behalf of our country regarding racism and cite examples irrelevant to this discussion? To exemplify your holier than thou position of moral authority? Nowhere in this thread has there been a racist comment and I would have the same opinion of anybody who would leave our shores and join the enemy. If it is in reference to the anti-Australian sentiment from a sizable pocket of the Lebanese community here, I have seen/heard it first hand along with many antidotes from trusted associates about their experiences. Though like with any group, I know many Lebanese people who are not like this and great people. They just seem to be over represented in this matter along with Australian terrorism.

I agree there is an unacceptable degree of racism in Australia though you have been fooled in to believing racism is a quality specifically inherent to white people of the Western world.

Another bubble burster for you- it ain't.

I think the conundrum is, say you take the kids, do they grow up resenting, or worse, the govt/society that refused their mother?

A bit of a pickle, and for the record, I don't hate Muslims, my mom is married to one. They both say you don't get to come back after leaving home for that sh#t.

Also, her children aren't citizens of Australia

Not "citizens of Australia"

Problem solved - why should Morrison even waste time on this?

Seeing you want to talk about laws - there is no automatic citizenship for a child born overseas to Australian parents.

A child born overseas can be registered as an Australian citizen by descent if at least one of the biological parents was an Australian citizen at the time of the child's birth. A parent can apply for registration of Australian citizenship by descent on behalf of the child before the child reaches 18 years of age.

You don't speak for me - same as "The sorry" movement doesn't speak for me.

If you were so concerned about history you would hunt down the absent investors who bolted with the bulk of the wealth taken off Aborigines under the old Terra Nullius. Why should the current generation of taxpayers pay for money thats been repatriated to the old mother country - Britain?

Just reading all your posts and you are no better than her with your hate vitriol, as disgusting as an isis bride
Pity we let your type into our country. Maltese hey? Not unlike isis brides when I read your posts and hate and anger
Maybe you two should meet, hang out, share your hate
You both got plenty of it, plenty in common

And just so you know, I didn’t comment on wether she should be allowed back or not, you made an assumption.
No better than her, not at all

What leads you to believe I am hate filled? I don't hate anybody, I do think justice would be to let this woman rot in the Middle East though.

When you say óur country' what group are you referring to membership of as the collective our?

I wasn't let in to this country, I was born here. 2nd generation.

My apologies - I had you confused with Thecakeisalie whom the long winded post was directed at if you read the Reply To. Guess we';re both guilty there.

I'm still not hate filled and disagree with your comments though .

I'll retract the assumptive, virtue signalling wanker comment from being directed at you as well- that is also reserved for Thecakeisalie.

Are you hanging around people from 1970?
As an Aussie I don’t know 1 person who speaks like that and I know some real pieces of shyte.

ISIS brides and there offspring, a tiny bit of sympathy for the kids but not enough to suggest bringing them back.
Sadly all these brides and their kids need to be left where they are as an example to others.

If we let the kids in then it doesn’t really discourage others from making the same mistake the mother did

Our? well I live here as well
I don’t see any difference in the hate you are showing her than the hate she is showing Western society
Considering how her Middle Eastern society has been pillaged by the West I can understand her angst

Allowed back into Australia, no thanks, no way, made a decision when she left, for herself and her children. Very clear conscious decision
Doesn’t make it right to hate people for bad decisions and act like an isis jihadist like the way she is acting

I just don’t see much difference between her comments and yours, just saying
