I said in my statement, "if the allegations are true". I have no idea if they are, or not. If he did, indeed, hold underage girls against their will, and sexually abuse them, i stand by what i said.

OP is making a stretch. You may not like it, but as far as the evidence we have, Hefner did nothing Illegal. R Kelly, however, sounds like he will be going away for awhile for his misdeeds. His defence is blaming the Parents of the girls for "selling" them to him.

The problem is you have to set your emotions aside and actually do your own research to find out what is actually going on. The problem is we know most people don't do that and only get things in sound bites.

I did a little research on the case which is how I've come to my conclusion he is being railroaded. The media is mixing up two different things in how they present the case... they do this often to muddy the waters for people who aren't paying attention.

Everyone knows R Kelly was on video peeing on that girl and married Aliyah. However, the current case is not about that at all. It has NOTHING to do with it. The current case is that he has two girlfriends, one 21 and the other is 23 or 24.

The girls PARENTS are claiming he is holding them hostage and that he brainwashed them. However, the girls themselves, whom are in the interview I posted, appear to be perfectly happy. In addition, they claim the parents are just trying to blackmail R Kelly.

The parents are the ones who brought them to R Kelly to be developed as musical acts. It is not a stretch to believe the parents may be upset they aren't getting riches and are using this to frame R Kelly given his prior history.

People just need to step back and try to look it objectively.

Parents have been pushing their underaged kids at rich and famous men since the beginning of time. The only thing that has changed is that nowadays it has become more lucrative to turn on their former "benefactor" because there is more money to be made in lawsuits, interviews, reality television shows and book deals since the #MeToo movement. I feel sorry for the kids because they have such crappy parents but my interest ends there.

Are they any different??? come on.... One literally spends all his time around underage girls (some as young as 12/13) having sex with them, exploiting their naivety/innocence, while Hefner was ALWAYS with girls over 18, and never had stories even remotely close to what R Kelly has... Yes, Hugh Hefner would take multiple girls at once, some being 50 years younger, but they were always over 18, unlike R Kelly, who was primarily under 18, and some VERY VERY young. R Kelly is a monster.. Hugh Hefner is not a monster.
