It’s that day of the year where women are acknowledged for simply being women. It’s not about who is the most popular, the prettiest, or the richest. It’s simply in celebration of being a woman.
As some women will attest to, being a woman isn’t always easy, though personally I couldn’t imagine wanting to be any other gender.
Being a man isn’t always easy either, and I do think they should have an equivalent day to celebrate their awesomeness.
But today is about the celebration of women and the many roles they’ve played in our lives.
Feel free to tell us about the important women in your life and why they’ve made such an impact. It doesn’t have to be anything grande, just something meaningful to you.
To all our ladies on ATS.. have a wonderful day !

"No country can ever truly flourish if it stifles the potential of its women and deprives itself of the contributions of half of its citizens." - Michelle Obama, Former First Lady of the United States
Billionaire George Soros has ties to more than 50 ‘partners’ of the Women’s March on Washington
What is the link between one of Hillary Clinton’s largest donors and the Women’s March? Turns out, it’s quite significant
Really? UniteWomen.org, another partner, features videos with the hashtags #ImWithHer, #DemsInPhily and #ThanksObama. Following the money, I pored through documents of billionaire George Soros and his Open Society philanthropy, because I wondered: What is the link between one of Hillary Clinton’s largest donors and the “Women’s March”?

Do you celebrate the men that came before you (on international men's day, LOL) that protected the women and provided a house and way of life to those women too? Or is this simply a one sided appreciation?
