Back in the 70's there was an American Top 40 hit which had the rephrase..."Love me, love me, love me".

It was kind of a disco hit. This wasn't the name of the song, but rather just some lyrics in the song.

Do you know the name of the song, or the artists? I think they were one hit wonders.

Donna Summer was one of my fav's back in the day.

Nope, too much soul in this one. Think - Real top 40 stuff. Probably summer 78 or so....like in the Rose Royce era (i.e "Car Wash).

Loved those guys too (Le Freak), but that's not it.

It was a real pop up in the song....ba dah bah da bah, LOVE me Love me love me...badah bah da bah.
