I love how you peace-loving Democrats became the party of Warhawks the moment President Trump began working towards peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Trump is focused on preventing World War Three while you're focused on continuing World War Reeeee!

And Republicans have selective memory it appears.

If you can't remember both parties have been trying to open dialogue with NK for decades but lil Kim's father didn't want to talk. If anyone is to be commended for the treaties it's lil Kim, he agreed to the talks unlike his father. But once again Trump will take the credit.

Says the soldier ,you have blood on your hands, I don't..

Take it from me. You don't want it. But you keep cheering for it because it hurts Trump. It's not a good look.

I called Trump out for escalating the situation in the first place, Icalled him put for propping up the little dictator and giving him the royal tour, trump was advised by literally the entire intelligence community to leave it yet his ego got in the way.

Kim was never going to disarm, you would have to have had a lobotomy to believe he would, Kim needs containment not praise.

You have no idea what you are talking about. "Containment" only allowed him to advance his chem and nuke ability. Do you teach school kids ?

So living in Japan makes you master of all knowledge...

Perhaps you think you know a lot more than you do.

No, but it does allow me to understand what it means to have a President who surrounds himself of advisors that think best for the American people, not just the power hunger gungho warriors that have stock in the companies that make war material.

Has he taken any advice at all from his advisors? Seems to me he sacks anyone who doesn't agree with him, filling his staff with yes men does not exactly qualify with taking advice now does it.

Have you ever owned a business? I have, even in a foreign land. You got to be tough as nails and "honest" and have people under you know what the heck they are doing or talking about. Trump has that. Maybe you've over seen that in my language expressing myself here.
A businessman uses the best talent available, not "Yes men"
Catch my drift now dude.

I live in a foreign country and I run my own business and have done for many years.

However I don't catch your drift as you and I see the world we live in very differently.

Also running a business and living in a foreign country is hardly a qualifier for one's ability to discern the world around them..

So maybe we are on the same level of the playing field, qualified to keep up with world events means nothing to each of us. So be it. I was only getting a point across and letting people know that including you now, we have maybe a different view on the political scenes abroad. No offense OK.

I guess they were hoping for less sanctions and their patience has run out.
Not that I'm defending NK but I can imagine I would do the same if I was in their shoes.

I would be surprised if we did interpret the world around us in the same way .

I can only come to the conclusion I do through my experience, I try not to let outside influences like media shape my views however it's not always possible, especially me spending as much time as I do on a forum like this.

We don't often agree and that's fine, I would never take offense to your posts as they are never offensive, you have a great attitude...

I wish I could day the same for myself however I often suffer from distemper..

Trump had about as much of a chance achieving peace with North Korea as Dennis rodman did lol I am all for peace talks with North Korea as I was with Iran and cuba, were all the "peace loving conservatives" happy go lucky about that as well? I get it when trump talks with evil regimes it's because he is the bald eagle and all things mericuh but when obama does it it's because reeeeeeee!!!!!

Lol.

NK must have the best engineers in the world to be able to start re-building within days.

In the real world you would not be able to tell for weeks.

More fake news.

P

Has to be bamboo or they used an erector set. Sad that people fall for fake news. By the way the only sanction China had was on tourism. And as of yet I dont believe that policy had changed unless anyone has seen different?

Funny part is he is all ready trying to get Trump to return to the negotiations. So it isn't over yet.

I would have thought that America would lift a small percentage of the sanctions as a reward for good behavior.
From what I took from the summit it seems like Kim is making an effort to better relations but Trump is getting credit for world peace despite it not being true at all.
Maybe he declined lifting sanctions to see how Korea will react?

I would never try to insult anyone on the forum. No need to. I'm here only to see what is happening around the world. And you come across as one I would most enjoy reading your threads.

Getting old now, don't really have a home i can call home these days. That does take its toll I guess.

What a goob. You could've just posted this.

I love how Trump supporters lack the ability to admit when they were wrong. Instead of simply saying "Yeah, he didn't really pull this one through, but I still support him because of x, y and z". You instead attack anyone who dares to point out his shortcomings. Very childish behavior.

Also, what has Trump done to prevent North Korea from moving toward a nuke capable of reaching the US? Their research continued unabated from their first meeting until now.

Now I know the next thing in the Trumper playbook is to ask "Well, what did you want Trump to do, he did his best!". I wanted him to take advice from people with knowledge of international politics instead of treating this as a New York real estate deal.

No one is calling for war. I am all for Trump talking to anyone to negotiate peace. The only complaint I have is that Trump went into this on his own without asking anyone with international political experience for any advice on how to proceed. By just diving head first into this without taking advice from experts could bring us closer to war than if he didn't do anything.

I will repeat, I am all for the president of the United States negotiating peace with any country, however, I expect that president to realize it is impossible for any man to be an expert on all subjects and to be humble enough to take advice. Also, don't give in to demands from North Korea until they actually do something instead of giving away everything Kim wanted while literally receiving nothing in return.

Good for them. Why is that only China, France, Russia, United Kingdom, and the United States should have nuclear weapons? If anyone has em, all should have em.

Yeah, why don't we let everyone have them. How about Iran, will you pay them on the back and say "good job" if they develop a nuke? Especially considering how critical Republicans and Trumpers have been of Obama and his Iran deal.

You guys will literally say whatever you can just to defend captain bone spurs.

Surprise surprise eh, how long until rocket man 2.0 kicks off, place your bets now.

Can't wait to read all the excuses and see trumps base flip flops over why Trump gave a full on dictator the credit he didn't deserve and a spot in the limelight, the picture of Kim and Trump will go down in history as one of the dumbest moves by a sitting American president.

Ummm. . . . yeah, no.

I mean, if North Korea launches nukes and kills millions, you can fist-pump and say, "Booyah! I was right! Orange man failed!"

*shrugs at the insanity*

What did Trump accomplish then? Other than give away our largest bargaining chips for nothing?

North Korea never stopped their nuclear bomb research. They even expanded their research during this period of time. How do we know? Because of satellite photos showing the construction of underground nuclear facilities that I reported on several months back.

Does anyone still buy this crap? We get it, the media hates the President. If the NYT wants an educated audience to believe this nonsense, they would use official NAMED military sources or The White House perhaps.

"Military analysts" = anyone.

I don't believe anything without proof. Luckily, there is solid evidence proving the veracity of these claims. Also, not one but two different North Korea watch groups have reported the exact same findings.

But it's ok, I know you don't believe it, because Trump hasn't told you it's ok to believe it. You have lost any ability to think for yourself. Its apparent your worldview is binary at this point. If the news is critical of Trump it's fake regardless of proof and if the news is praising Trump it must be real.

Do you really like being brain washed? How much sense does it make to believe a pathological liar at his word? Honestly, there is no doubt that Trump lies about pretty much everything (his height, his grades, his crowd size, what he had for dinner, etc) and if anyone still believes that man at just his word, they are insane or just plain stupid.

Obama ARMED Iran. OBAMA FUNDED IRAN!
