So with that in mind, I'm in no danger of purchasing it.

It's being reported among XBone and PCs now, too.

EA is cancer... the consoles crashing are a sign that EA has metastasized. The only solution is to cut EA out of the body and burn it with fire.

In a slightly related note, even Kaepernick stands for this Anthem... he stands to leave the room when he sees it playing.

EA is garbage, I didn't feel any hype for this POS game, it just sad that a billion dollar game company is okay with releasing trash.

It's like all the triple AAA dev/pubs are trying to out # eachother...

They deserve to go out of business.

Besides Divsion 2 is out soon and I’d the beta is anything to go by it’s going to be amazing.

Av seen multiple reports of Anthem causing hard crashes on PS4, it’s not some minor issue, neither is the game being a complete mess.

I've been waiting, too. The new Halo looks very promising. My itch for a Halo/COD game has been scratched with Apex Legends so far. Great game.

Theres a lot of hate for EA especially at the moment. The loot boxes being labelling as online gambling is hurting the bottom line surely? Now hardware breaking games.

However its not just EA being greedy. Even Rockstar, one of my favourite game companies, are getting into the greed with Red Dead Online from what im seeing and reading online.

I honestly cannot remember the last AAA game title since Mass Effect 2 or GTA5 that I bought and really enjoyed if im honest (PC Gamer).

Have a feeling there is a huge games industry crash coming when it comes to the largest game companies specifically. This just cannot keep going on with beta quality games being broken on release and containing micro transactions, paid DLC upgrades that amount to some skins, single player transactions etc. It's disgusting.

I miss the old days where you paid for something and that was it. Simple, nothing was half a**ed either as there were no second chances if you messed it up.

I thought it is still in the courts to decide if it is online gambling. If it is they are screwed people are going to get refunds... especially if under 18. That's why the games industry are lobbying against the ruling that it is gambling. Oh and it is btw.

You are right. I watched a vid the other day that was saying it has been declared online gambling in Belgium with others to follow suit.
Still pending in the US and other countries.

Seeing so many reports of bricked consoles and I've also seen sporadic claims of PC's crashing badly. I'm trying to fathom how bad the bugs on this game truly are for it to completely crash and brick a system.

It really sucks because I have always loved Bioware since I discovered the Baldur's Gate games. Heck, my bro-in-law was friends with the creators back when they were just a small company in Edmonton. Great guys that made awesome games before the evil that is EA ruined them.

Xbox one here. I really like the game and I’ve gotten a lot of flak for it. Is it a perfect game? Definitely not. But the story I think is good for the genre of game. There are some things I would definitely change... EA’s involvement is one of them. I swore off EA after battlefront 2. Even hearing the reviews I was still looking forward to it because it is a BioWare title, and I am a BioWare fan boy (excluding Andromeda) This is the first I’m hearing about it crashing ps4. Hopefully they fix whatever is causing this. But looking at the number of patches. It seems as though they are working on getting things corrected.
