Dr. Seuss opposed racism and discrimination. A bunch of his stories are metaphors for such concepts. Dr. Seuss was an actual social just warrior....and I don't mean that insultingly. He used his story telling and artwork to educate kids about things that sjw's(meant insultingly) should agree with.

Just what the actual #?

That's what I found odd as well... Dr. Seuss was a Progressive and pushed his ideology throughout his cartoons and stories.

You would think the loving and tolerant left wouldn't throw one of their own under the bus.

The Cat in the Hat.

So because there are not enough black or brown characters the books are racist???

How many of Snowwhites Seven Dwarfs were of colour?

Guess that fable must also be racist.

Or full of heightism because none of them are giants

Or was that just good old Walts version? LoL

This politically correct nonsensical bullcrap is downright tedious. LoL

Here is one of the images they specifically talk about.

The stereotyping of the Chinese. I'm not sure its offensive.

Not book art from Dr. Seuss (His signature is on them however I cannot authenticate it)

I wanted to show the diversity of his drawings, not just the books.

I am sure someone finds these offensive as well.

Yes, seven vertically challenged men paying homage to a pretty white woman. Privilege if I ever saw it. ALong with Cinderella, Rapunszel (if it were dreadlocks it would be cultural appropriation)....and so on.

Then the Bible must be up there with the likes of Mein Kampf.

Considering it not only promotes racism but also slavery and mass genocide in spades.

Clearly this spin on the Dr. Seuss brand objectifies woman, right? I mean, although at the Halloween party she won first place for the sexy Cat in the Hat, it is still just making sex symbols out of women and supporting a rape culture narrative, Right?

...or....maybe people just read too much into stuff.

I will go with option 2.

Just more fuel for the Dangers of Dr. Seuss books and imagery.

I am afraid the more they read the more offended they will become. I think they see hate and segregation everywhere.

Stick figure stories for all children books from here on out, however, I am sure using a black pen on white paper to illustrate a stick figure book would be found offensive as well.

Seems there damned if they do and damned if they don't.

The secret lies in being able to determine and read what's between the lines.

But i think they stopped teaching that skill sometime around the same time common sense went into the bin.

This is the perfect example of "Perversion is in the eye of the beholder".

Like Morals, this is very subjective.

also remember kids, you be the old folks of tomorrow.......

when your children ban your rap music, for being racist, sexist, and just old fashioned.

“The presence of anti-blackness, Orientalism and white supremacy span across Seuss’ entire literary collection and career,” say researchers Katie Ishizuka and Ramon Stephens.
