so this video is of a guy messing with magnets and other electrical items to produce various effects.

the video reminded me of hutchison but less crazy and with videos with no cuts and apparently no funny business.

towards the end of the vides around 7:30 and after it shows a very interesting contraption this guy has made. maybe i missed something or maybe its fake but it LOOKS impressive.

the whole video is 13 or so mins long if you have time give it a watch.

i would love to hear explanations on how the device at the end of the video is doing what it appears to be doing. dont let the video inlay of various UFO people distract you.

eta: in the end of the video in the reflection there is no one else there and no apparent rigging

Well, if you bothered reading the comments on this video clip, you would've found your answer:

The supposedly flying contraption at the end is suspended by a wire hanging from something like a crane above. Note the angle of the man when he appears to be swinging a stick above the device? He keeps his back to the camera such that it is not possible to perceive the depth of the stick and whether or not it is actually above the device. It appears to not be above the device despite looking as though it is. Also, it would be totally possible to suspend the device from below in a similar manner to those "magic" fountains that appear to be supported by the stream of water coming out of them.

The stick looks like it goes completely over the device to me.
But what do I know, opposed to some boob commenting on a youtube video.

I do find it funny he's probably using an unregistered copy of windows though - as you can see in the bottom right corner in the opening of the video.

And a randoms comment on YouTube holds so much weight why? Not saying they are wrong but they know as much as we do.

It is a cool video anyway you slice it.

At least Chris provides different camera angles.

But this is a machine, not a girl, and Boyd Bushman and Lazar are talking in the background about gravity, so it must be real.

Just as much weight as a "randoms" video...... Especially when their explination seems to tick off all the boxes....

I always find it humorous that people's comments are considered trash, but the random videos from the same popation of people are somehow credible...

Apples and kumquats ... everyone knows Chris "Angel" sold his soul and got his powers over nubile bystanders (or byhoverers) diabolically...

while the hovering apparatus is clearly sciencey.

The hovering apparatus appears to contain a ducted fan that requires 12vDC.

It would be interesting to see the original vid with the original sound.

This vid looks a lot like similar vids that claim to show perpetual motion using an overbalanced wheel--usually a bicycle wheel--that is actually being blown in rotation by a jet of air from outside the frame.

Nah. It is suspended with a fishing line.

The fixed perspective/camera and the stick is a pretty cheap trick even for a magician.

There is another video where he is using a ring (a flexible hose with connected ends I think ) instead of a stick. But when putting it over the "hovering" object he moves it out of the camera view. You can guess why.
