But it will be interesting to see how they will recycle the same old UFO stories and memes.

They may try to herald themselves as being a catalyst for UFO popularity.


Those scenes I think you mentioned where Zondo visits TDL, and they hug and sit there delusionally talking as if they discovered Mars or something.


I'll watch it for sure but not from the angle of expecting anything new.

We'll have to wait and see what transpires. But people who say they saw something they've never seen before aren't lying. If they say it's not of this Earth then they are. Because they can't know that for sure.

Zondo is also quoted in that piece as saying

..."For me, the micro goal is to collect the truth and speak the truth. I present the facts and the data, and the audience is the jury....

Remember his Italy speech about The Washington 1952 UFO flap? There are no photographs and a handful of eye witnesses.But Zondo claimed there were hundreds of witnesses and photographs?

He might believe that. In which case he would pass a polygraph test.

Or he lied.

Either way he got the facts wrong there.

I watched one of the old ones last night.

Zondo actually said some good things, such as admitting the feds have deceived and lied.

I rarely see things as black and white, and Zondo and even some of the others will do and say positive things as a matter of nature once in a while.

The problem with Zondo and TTSA has been said in this thread many times.

One is that they have no real explanation for the fact that the government has already studied UFOs.

Serious studies and they have concluded this:

THEY DON’T HAVE THE TECHNOLOGLOGICAL CAPACITY TO DETERMINE THEIR REALITY!

Excuse me for the shouting, but it's for emphasis. (Because the above is the great secret the government covers up or just doesn’t admit openly)

So, the very basis of TTSA trying to get the government to do something they’ve already done is phony.

Sure, they may stir up new people and get a congress to initiate a new investigation.
But so, what. They’ll fail again to get a clear, certain, concise explanation for UFOs no matter how obsessive people get, and no matter how many people TTSA jinn up with fear.

One more thing.

Who else was in ATTIP?

Besides Zondo and that old cigarette machine in the back of that Army base.

Unidentified was boring to me. It looks like the plan is to attract willing military experiencers who will tell us about their run-ins with UFOs. It gets kind of redundant.

Not a bad doc but kind of spartan and little excitement because you know what’s coming next.

They’ll sit an ex-military guy down and Zondo will question him about the same tales we’ve heard for 70 years.

I am not sure about AATIP. It seems to have existed in people's imaginations. There's not really much real proof it existed. Harry Reid said he started it. But he's also reluctant to actually prove any of it. He said 80% of the information is already available. But again. No help from Harry as to how to get hold of it. I think George Knapp rustled up a document from his sofa. But that wasn't an official government document.

As for Zondo going around questioning military UFO witnesses. Why?

If he had or hadn't found answers during his time with AATIP then what is the point?

Look, is admitting one worked at ATTIP a breaking of their security clearance?
Obviously not unless Zondo has broken his.
Therefore its odd that we don’t know any others who had worked in ATTIP.

Why haven’t they come forward and said.
“Hey, yeah we worked along with Zondo in ATTIP.”

As for his finding something in ATTIP, I doubt he did any better or any different than what he’s doing now, getting a few folks who have had run-of-the-mill experiences with supposed UFOs.

Donald Keyhoe had the same material (just different witnesses in a different era) 73 years ago.

And we all have the same response as they did 73 years ago. Scratch our heads and say," oh yeah its a UFO but we can't explain it. Show me the next one, my head still itching."

And there is always and probably always will be someone complaining about

"Hey, what's the military and government doing? this may be a threat."

So...

Like Gordon Gekko said in Wall Street:

Even more interesting is the last part of that article you linked to;

The 2017 New York Times article "Glowing Auras and ‘Black Money’: The Pentagon’s Mysterious U.F.O. Program" reported that "the company [BAASS] modified buildings in Las Vegas for the storage of metal alloys and other materials that Mr. Elizondo and program contractors said had been recovered from unidentified aerial phenomena."

As it turns out, those materials could actually only be pieces of burnt wood and junk, and not metal alloys with extraordinary properties. In conclusion, the more we learn about this program and BAASS, the more dubious and amateurish the whole operation looks. After all, maybe it was just Bob Bigelow's own UFO research project funded by government money, using fringe science and dubious methods..

So what of these buildings that were "Modified" as described in the original NYT piece? I mean if its bottles of muddy water, burnt pieces of wood and junk; surely they could have just bought a garden shed to store them in right?

It's just a story of the same group of people moving from one gullible rich eccentric patron to another. When Rockefeller dries up they jump to Fetzer. When he dies or dries up they jump to Firmage or Bigelow. After Bigelow it's taxpayer money or DeLonge or Dan Marriott or Brandon Fugal.

Who knows how many other rich suckers kept their anonymity and got away with their dignity (if not their bank accounts) intact.

You can't keep your bottles of muddy water out of the hands of your competition with a garden shed. This is just an animation but maybe Bigelow installed a security system like this to guard the muddy water?

Seriously though, thanks for the link MM, I'm not surprised at all to see more evidence it was a Mickey Mouse operation. There were also interviews with Ranch employees where they revealed several things that made the operation sound Mickey Mouse.

When the old beat up ranch truck the security guards were using started showing the belts on the worn tires, they were replaced with used tires that weren't much better and were almost worn out too, so money spent on anything related to the ranch was as minimal as possible.

The cameras they were given to use were in such bad shape that the employees ended up buying their own cameras out of their own money. Some of the security cameras were fake and again the employee said his own money was used to buy real security cameras:

Lukes asked Bartel what equipment had BAASS provided to them for use at the ranch? Bartel replied that it was night vision equipment; thermal imaging gear; EMF detectors, and cameras. However, that the cameras were in such poor condition, especially dusty, that when photographs were taken with a flash, dust particles would show up in the pictures, as "orbs." They bought their own high definition cameras to use.

Bartel also mentioned that a couple of the ranch surveillance cameras were just fake ones. At one time, when there was a fear of outsiders talking about shooting "hybrids" at the ranch, they bought additional surveillance cameras out of their own money.

I don't know if anybody has successfully traced where all the millions of dollars went, but obviously expenditures on Ranch equipment seemed to be minimal.

He also mentions his "shoot from the hip" training:

On the associated question of how much training did BAASS provide to them, Bartel said he didn't recall any. It was more like a "shoot from the hip" style introduction to the job.

That shoddy "shoot from the hip" approach also seemed to extend to how the reports and data of employee experiences were collected, not very methodical on the part of those running the project.

So after reading about the cameras given to the employees being in such bad shape that they were photographing "orb" phenomena due to the camera condition, and the employees had to buy their own cameras to take decent photos, it doesn't really surprise me that the project was analyzing bottles of muddy water. The more we learn, the more "Mickey Mouse" it sounds.

That's essentially nothing different from General Sanford's statement in 1952 that of the thousands of UFO reports received, most could be explained, but there was a residue for which they had no explanation. I don't see any significant difference.

The problem is that even if they ever get the US senate or congress to investigate UFOs, it will be no big thing.
Okay, they would bring on the same old group of career UFOlogists as they had that FAKE hearing a few years ago with ex- congresspeople, and the same old witnesses and the same old inability to get anywhere with that witness testimony.

What may be behind TTSA is a long-term op to get defense spending upgraded now that the cold war isn’t as hot as it used to be.

Their emphaisis on military threats is revealing.
