Most colleges now are nothing but organized political BS.

They are essentially nothing but Progressive indoctrination camps now.

But I do understand how you feel that any opposing viewpoint should be reacted to with violence.

After all, an actual debate of ideas wouldn't work out very well for the left.

So best to just shut them up quickly and as painfully as possible so the next person who thinks differently will think twice.

Probably an interesting reason that the dems want free college, keep the brainwashing going to a larger portion of the populace.

Why spend 3 or 4 years learning a trade, gaining skill, avoiding debt and possibly creating a family of future "anti socialist" offspring.

Free brainwashing....err I mean "education" for everyone. We all know you NEED a college diploma to be successful.

I guess it's a willing tradeoff for the lack of massive debt, the larger scale brainwashing will pay off in the end.

Feeling pretty good about my only degrees now. They were significantly cheaper, I could go at my own pace, they are accredited, several people way higher up the food chain than myself have them, and best of all not a single classroom or professor to deal with. The only person I had to deal with was a counselor, and their job was to ensure I had the resources I needed and that I was on track academically. The only other time that I was required to interact with staff was for my MS thesis defense. I didn't have to take a bunch of classes that had nothing to do with my chosen field of study either, which was quite nice.

I did help the alumni department once, voluntarily, by holding a workshop on how to obtain a job in my field to a group of other students who were enrolled in the same program I had gone through. No political or social discourse at all during any interaction.

Then again I think most degrees are completely useless, that's another discussion though.
