When I was in college many years ago I read this quote: "To the mystic, zero equals infinity. To the scientist, zero never equals infinity."

I screwed up the algebra. I have to work on it.

Your algebra is not very good.
Not to mention that you left out the speed of light is squared.

It makes sense to me.

Since 0 Is a circle that everything could fit into.

That is easier than math.

Ever think about all the numbers in between 1 and 0 are infinite as well?

There are an infinite number of rational numbers and and infinite number of irrational numbers.

And there are more irrational numbers than rational numbers.

Gosh.

Infinity is not a number.

Infinity is a concept that actually doesn't really occur in our universe.

There is an upper limit to the numerical values that can exist in reality.

Eventually you would reach a point, where you had permeated every single unit capable of being utilized to scribe the number, and there just is not enough viable resource action to add anymore to that number, from within space-time.

Hmmm

Then what about

∞+1

How's that for some math?

If x=n/m, then x approaches infinity as m approaches zero.

Who knew?

This subject has me pondering...what if there were no hypothetical situations? Would pondering even be possible?

Perhaps it's like a fat guy who's nickname is Tiny and zero is just infinity's cool nickname.

You can get 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + ..... to equal to -1/12.
