Detaining people just for speaking a language other than English is crazy. Keep in mind America has no official language. They were just trying to buy something at a convenience store. This is truly profiling in the worst kind of way. It appears they can question people 100 miles from the border, in their cars, but maybe went to far in this case.

BUT.... this is the key item in the entire story

You better believe once a wall is built, another way in will be from the top. It is already happening, and maybe these guys are jumping the gun.
Anyone in the border states North hear anything about this yet?

I thought you were going in the direction of building that wall to keep US citizens out if Canada

Nope.

The illegal immigration crisis is at our southern border. Logically, those seeking to enter the US illegally wouldn't travel around the entirety of our country just to enter from the Canadian border. That doesn't make any sense..

That’s just weird.....although I would rather learn Spanish than French....

I do remember reading various articles out of the states, that say more terrorists come from here than from the southern border. This is coming from the Democrats.

Here's are my other guesses

#1 Montana is just racist, and if you don't look Montanese enough they just like to rough you up a bit
#2 All those refugees that Canada took in are freezing and want to head back South, or are finding that life in Canada isn't what they thought
#3 Migrants/Illegal aliens/ terrorist etc, are flying, boating, into Canada and slipping into the US

They’re definitely freezing up here, but our government seems to want to treat migrants better than our freezing homeless populations.

Across the street from me, very rural area, there’s Mexicans that come up each year to work at a local bee farm. A small home is set up, just for this group. Saw them last year in April with shorts and sandals, and heavy borrowed jackets, because we still had snow 😂

They didn’t look impressed with our weather...

Yeah, the Canada, U.S. border is the second largest unprotected border in the WORLD, but it's only the Southern border that needs protection.

That is the stupidest mindset ever. Especially considering most illegals in the U.S. didn't cross either border.

Just so everybody knows. There's people that speak Spanish in Canada...it's really not unheard of. In fact i heard a couple of people speaking Spanish, someone speaking some eastern European language and a bunch of people speaking Cantonese....all just this morning.
