We know he served in vietnam.

is a known lie.
Not a "gotcha" attempt, an attempted lie used by you and others to gain sympathy for an old man who should have just stayed in his lane.

Simply quit posting lies and you will stop being called out for such.

It is not a lie and you continue to disparage folks that served in support roles during vietnam.

It is a figure of speech and words mean things.

You just said a page ago he served "in" Vietnam. That is blatantly false. He was never deployed aka, never left the U.S.

Sorry we are using your exact words against you.

Just because you served in the Era of Vietnam, doesn't mean you served in Vietnam. You are confusing things.

That is why i said it was a gotcha moment.

The medal received is a vietnam service medal.

So if someone says i served in vietnam....it can mean one of two things..either deployment to the jungle or a support role in the military during the war of vietnam.

Neither is the case of stolen valor.

I suppose if would have dodged the service with the claim of bone spurs then you all would want to get a motel room with him.

Nope .... People get wartime service medals if they serve during wartime. That means the man served in vietnam even if he did go awol 3 times and was an e1 when he was dishonorably discharged after being stripped of all medals except for the wartime service medal.

He can honestly say i served in vietnam.

That is not stolen valor and you are actually defaming him and others by claiming otherwise.

...........Still no lawsuits.............

If you say you served in Germany......you were deployed to Germany ect. People who try to make their service sound more important do the things you say and embellish.

Pretty much everyone acknowledges there are Vietnam Vets, ie those who actually served in Country and Vietnam ERA Vets who served in the armed forces but not in Vietnam.

He is a Vietnam ERA Vet, not a Vietnam Vet.

Well put and i agree.

Words mean things and he should have been more clear.

His words do not equate stolen valor as reported by people seeking to demean his character while attempting to make the case for defamation of some students.

You just can not accept the fact you are wrong about stolen valor claims so you keep on with nonsense.

You can do better.

I did not bring up the permits the msm did.

The member claiming i brought up the permits had linked to the permits and now is pretending they were not part of the debate.

I am the member who linked the fact that both the March for Life and the Indigenous People's March were permitted and that was in response to your posting about permits in the first place.

Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 09:13 AM) is the first post you made regarding permits. This same post was the one I quoted in this post of this thread.

Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 12:30 PM) is your next post mentioning permits.

Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 01:29 PM) is your next post mentioning permits.

You then made a couple of posts in which you did not mention permits.

Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 02:17 PM) is your next post in which you mention permits.

Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 03:27 PM) is your next post in which you mention permits.

Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 03:37 PM) you mention permits, yet again.

Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 04:13 PM) again is you about permits.

Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 04:19 PM) again.

Again (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 05:28 PM) about permits.

You then made another post without mentioning permits.

Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 05:52 PM) again about permits.

And finally Here (posted on Feb, 4 2019 @ 06:05 PM) is my reply to you in which I link Wikipedia stating that both the March for Life and the Indigenous People's March both were permitted activities.

I presume you understand how timestamps work and can see that you made 10 (count them) posts in which you mention permits before I made the post in which I linked Wikipedia. The article that thread was based upon had no mention whatsoever of permits and the only reason there was any discussion in that thread (and now this one) about permits was because you brought permits into the discussion.

So, there are only a few possibilities here.

Either:

A) I am lying and made up the posts I linked above
B) Someone was posting with your account without your knowledge or consent
C) ATS somehow made these posts without your knowledge or consent
D) You're delusional and do not have a grasp of reality
E) You're lying about not mentioning permits

Which is it?

You are severely confused.

I will type slow for you.

The msm brought up the fact the of the permits. Yes i have mentioned that fact on ats.

You are indeed the member who has in this thread the permits were never brought up by anyone other than my account even though i told you the msm brought it up and you yourself linked to info about them even though you claimed no links existed.

............Your butt hurt and still no lawsuits............

Your gotcha failed and totally childish
