Heh, slightly. You're far too modest, really. I live in that area code.. at an undisclosed location, and I'm so used to seeing and hearing F-22 Raptors in the sky when I'm out that it'd seem weird to never have regular activity in the sky. We're also near Langley, Fort Eustis, Fort Monroe, Oceana, Camp Perry, plenty more fun places.

I heard a few this last week. Two were very late at night probably 3-4:30am and it was a loud explosion like sound, longer than a rifle shot, more like a plane breaking the sound barrier maybe. Then there was one during the day, it sounded kind of like the tailgate of a dump truck slamming, but it was absolutely too loud for anything near me to have made it or even far away. I don't know how cold weather effects sound, I've seen mixed answers, it supposedly travels faster in warm air but "appears" to travel further in cold - so IDK. It wasn't humid when this happened so that didn't effect it. BTW, I'm in SE PA, and there are a few military bases and an air force base not too far (for a jet), but we rarely ever hear stuff from them, not like we used to in the 80's.

It didn't feel like thunder (I'm guessing you meant thunder). It felt more like it was travelling through the ground

We've had a lot of massive booms like this in Missouri over the past year, during all seasons. The first couple of times we wondered if a meth lab had exploded nearby, lol (southwest Missouri is notorious for meth manufacturing; I live in the area that Winter's Bone was written about and filmed in). Thankfully that's NOT what any of our booms have been, nor, to the best of my knowledge have they been sonic booms. There are a couple of threads on here somewhere about the phenomena, but to date no one has satisfactorily explained what's going on.

Has anyone plotted these events on a map?

Last Saturday, early, early in the morning around 4:30AM I was suddenly woken up by a very loud thunder sound, but didn't sound like typical thunder, it was almost like a super sonic jet flew over without the feeling of it.

Mind you, this was during a strange weather pattern rolling through my area, a polar vortex, near the tail end of it. But, when I looked into it further I found it's not the first time a sound like that has happened in my area. Apparently a small earthquake a few years ago happened several miles away, it made a sound and traveled across lake Ontario, since sound travels much quicker over water it traveled faster and almost picks up speed and gets louder, it might have been that.

Bottom line, I heard something loud, something that took me right out of a deep sleep.

Someone should plot them. Mine wasn't related to the cold snap. I had some windows open that day because it was warm. It definitely came from under. Early afternoon.

It's just common sense that if the magnetic pole moves by hundreds of miles, metal minerals/rocks deep in the Earth would react.

No.

It seams that common sense would also say that its the metal that causes the magnetism, not the other way around.

It's the Crab People.

Are they related to the Lizard people that live below the earth, or Washington DC, the Vatican or Buckingham palace?

And what if its to do with the unseasonal cold snaps in Europe and the US coupled with heat waves in the Southern Hemisphere and to top it off increased volcanic activity and maybe even Yellowstone ready to blow?

Oh well, time to start blowing the assets and not leave it for the kids, and max out on the credit - no need to pay it back.
