A 27-year-old Indian man is going viral after he announced an intent to sue his parents, claiming he didn’t give his explicit consent to bring him into the world.

This my friends is epic. I will buy any one a beer that has heard of antinatalism before. That being it is immoral to bring a child into this world without prior consent.!

Idiot does not realize that it's his own damn fault for being born.

His sperm won over all the other ones.

Consent is implicitly implied.

I can totally see his point. I wasn't asked either. I don't want money I want an abortion.

Nothing surprises me anymore.
Maybe we should make it a law - make abortion the norm unless the unborn baby gets a lawyer and signs a contract for life.

RIGHT.
His Dad is off the hook.
Mom and her egg, however, can still be sued.

There have been similar academic trajectories, for example Prof. David Benatar's "antinatalism" espoused in his book: Better Never to Have Been: The harm of coming into existence (2006).

I remember one day my diaper was full of # and I screamed, the mom lady cleaned me up then I screamed again because I got hungry. That went on for about a year.
If you think I am a loser now you should have seen me back then...

I hope his mother counter-sues him for him assaulting her during his birth then demands damages amounting to the total cost expenses for raising him, money lost through raising him, assault damages, psychological impact damages and also has to pay all court fees.

Let us pretend for even a millisecond he is on to something...

Does this mean the human race should just die off?

Each person get to leach onto their parents until their parents die? Until they choose to have children?

How can someone give consent to birth? Hell maybe we already do and just don't remember.

People are just ridiculous and want attention.

No, no, no. He was an idiot in his past life. This is his karma catching up with him!

All he needs is a shave and haircut and a good karma bath in the Ganges and he will be as good as new!

Wow - see the photo? He's needing some bucks for razor blades.

His name sounds very Jewish to me; "cultural appropriation"?

Raphael Samuel, a 27-year-old Indian man

BTW both his parents are lawyers - they in turn will sue or use the Hospital as co-defendants where he was delivered for being too successful in bringing him to life.

How could his sperm impregnate his own mother? Asexual reproduction?

I think traversing the birth canal is consent. Now if he were a c-section then he maybe had a case.

This has some implications as to abortion rights. He is making the claim that he was a person capable of consent before he was born.
