"Offenders"...key word...or caught/prosecuted.
Hard to find folks if they disappear or no real interest in prosecution because it is rampant.

Use of SS# to obtain work, is theft, rarely prosecuted. False ID to open an account in a bank not requiring SS#, is criminal and rarely prosecuted. False info obtaining ien from the IRS, rarely prosecuted....seriously? The list is giant of non prosecuted crimes by illegals.

To this day three accidents I was involved in caused by people that vanished and gave false insurance info. ..never caught and considered unknown; all three barely spoke English, vehicle was not up to street legal and they were only ticketed. It's a joke.

That is just me, one person.

The same can be said for the wall.

I agree with your approach, but a physical barrier is still required. The point is to SLOW the influx of illegals.

50k per month are captured. 50k. That's just what is captured by CBP.

Surely a few posts in the ground and a stack of razor wire would slow people as effectively as a wall? And for those who try to drive through, tank traps and caltrops.

It would be way cheaper, and far quicker to deploy. Then the border patrol would be able to deal with those foolish or desperate enough to get through.

its not funny, had an accident with one a while back and mucked up my knee. Had to fix my vehicle as I need it for work, and put off getting my knee looked at all in all about $2500 out of pocket on an accident that wasn't my fault. All from a person who shouldn't be here nor should they be driving when they are.

Many migrant workers are coming here to pick your fruits, vegetables, do construction, lawnwork and other jobs that many Americans don't want to do.

Arguably making things better for those that live here.

Even Trump used illegals in his hotels and constructions sites. Made things better for him.

Yeah I kind of have to agree, we should just do what Mexico is doing and bus them north, Trudeau will jump at the opportunity to virtue signal at the expense of his own people.

Problem solved

Then Canada can bus them even farther north past the arctic circle.

Lol...i used to travel a great deal all over Texas as a Regional for business.

I've put a lot of cars through the years, houses etc. Never was there an issue.

The issue is they vanished, address not real, on and on..

No way to claim a stat on unknowns and that is usually the defense position of those that like to compare known numbers to a 'possible' and simply state "see!".

It's was almost a joke for a while, people swapping stories about accidents with untraceables; then having to use uninsured motorist.

...and to those that say "who else is going to do the work?" We pay for that cheap illegal employment daily. So: The answer is we do, in a plethora of hidden costs that didnt exist prior. And who did the work before?

I'm not a fan of walls.

Remember besides keeping people out. They keep people in as well.

However I'm not opposed to building a wall in areas where it's necessary.

Exactly. A solid wall from coast to coast would make me very uncomfortable.

Its funny listening to people (not you or projectvzn) say the wall isn't going to stop anyone because they can use a ladder or dig a tunnel, use a catapult or drone to transport drugs..

Just imagine during medieval times, a King is building a new castle and discussing construction plans with "the Kings men", all the wisest men, scientists, military strategists, architects...

Can you imagine someone piping up... "Whats the point of having this giant stone wall surrounding the entire castle? Or the moat? Or the drawbridge? If someone wanted to come in, they could just dig a tunnel or use ladders to get in, or use a catapult to launch boulders, diseased corpses, or anything they want in here... Just build the necessary living quarters, a kitchen, bathroom, etc, and leave it at that. Defenses are a waste of time unless you can somehow magically prevent 100% of incursions onto your property."

It's scary to think that some of these people could end up in a position of authority over others... the thought that they could be responsible for making decisions that actually matter...it's not a comforting thought... hell its scary just imagining these people having kids. The idea that someone with such a fragile grasp on reality could be out there somewhere, influencing a growing young mind's development...is kind of infuriating in a way.

Something I find interesting is... we have no idea how much our current set up is preventing. There are people who will not Try to cross Because they are simply aware that defenses exist. So we will never know how many people would be crossing if we just gave up and tore down everything. We could be preventing 85% of illegal crossings now, and the "wall" and surrounding apparatus could bring us up to 97%... even if a hundred or more people are crossing per day that number could be exponentially bigger if not for our efforts.

We could be stopping 98% now and the wall will bring us to 99.999%. We just wont ever know what baseline we are working with unless we totally stop border security while still monitoring crossings.

But yeah I would love to put some of these geniuses into a time machine to medieval times, or China during the great wall construction, or even just put them on a plane to Israel...and have them explain how walls do not work because people can just get a ladder or dig a tunnel...

Seriously it $%&@ing pisses me off seeing what the results of a century of Marxist attacks on Western Civilization, specifically in this case our intellect, education, moral compass and mental health, have done to our people!

That is sometimes the most frustrating part for me... I want to (verbally/textually) grab people by their shoulders and shake the # out of them while screaming in their faces, but I realize this isn't actually 100% their fault that they turned out this way, and that I myself had many false beliefs growing up.

So I have to try to find a balance somewhere in between "You %&#$ idiot! Just THINK for once in your life for $%@ sake!" and "There, there... it wasn't your fault they took advantage of you..."

Did they ask who they sell those fake and stolen IDs to?

Every time they bust one of those rings it's to the tune of millions of IDs stolen by one or two illegals and then sold off to those coming across the border. This is important because outside of the fraud committed by millions of illegals using and selling these fake and stolen identities, there is the threat of infiltration by terrorists.

Statistically I expect that among 330 million Americans that those crimes would be higher among our population. I stand corrected on that.

I'd like to point out that the Great Wall of China was effective only a certain extent.

While it did deter some it did not stop all invasions.

I have a feeling that such a wall built on the mexican border would only be somewhat effective. Better than nothing of course. But we won't be solving all our problems with a wall.

I know I know. CNN.

www.cnn.com...

The claim is that the people knew they were undocumented and even provided them with forged docs.

This is a he said she said situation. But it could be true. And again we need to start putting people in jail that knowingly hire illegal so that this sort of thing stops.

"Ironically, the threats often came from the same supervisor who had employed them despite knowing their undocumented status and even provided them with forged documents," she added. "This toxic environment was designed to intimidate these women, leaving them fearful for their safety and the safety of their families."

The majority of the people coming here are coming to work because they have family they need to support.
If you want to stop illegal immigration then start arresting business owners that hire illegal workers.

Can you even arrest a sitting President?

Pretty much my thought. That and the fact that US destabilization of those countries has generated the violence that these people are fleeting. That and the little academy at Ft. Benning. Frankly, I think the remarks about shooting and strafing are disgusting and all those posters should be ashamed of themselves.

He said she said reported as fact.

That's just not good enough.

If it is true, certainly I agree that the supervisor who provided false documents should be in jail. That is a crime.

Those illegals need to be deported as they too were involved in a crime and admittedly so.

The thing is that if you employ people for at or below minimum wage, they must be making ends meet somehow.

Surely an employer who is paying those low wages is complicit?

When Trump became President, he had those people that he'd employed, sacked. The only reason must be that he had known they were undocumented (some for years) and wanted to appear to have clean hands.
