Even if it wasn't a joke, those were different times, and I'm not saying that behavior was even ok back then, but people can change.

But he is a horrible govonor, mainly because he claims to be a Democrat, but has stock in and helped a corporation express eminent domain for a pipeline through VA (people got arrested on their own land for protesting construction) .

I won't be sad if he burns for this, but I said my piece.

This sure has been a bad week for him though.

I remember I used to write insanely creepy serial killer like notes in people's yearbooks as a joke when I was in high school. I suppose if I were ever to go into public service those would now come back to haunt me...

The vacuity of modern society never ceases to amaze.

All this picture shows is that he had a sense of humor. This WAS the humor back then. It is meant to be ironic. They are actually mocking the insanity of the previous generations not celebrating them. The problem is that we've returned tenfold to the insanity of those generations and everyone has lost their humor.

This reminds me of the kind of crap Doug Kenney and Henry Beard, both liberals, did back then before they went on to found National Lampoon. I mean the style of humor is right there in the title of their publication: 'Lampoon' - to publicly criticize someone or something by using ridicule, irony or sarcasm.

This kind of humor was all the rage in those days and it is sad that we've lost that concept -- because it is exactly what is sorely lacking in today's society. People today are taking themselves way too seriously when they aren't even very serious beings to begin with -- they're actually quite devoid of being. They haven't even begun to grasp the concepts of the generations that came before them. They just react and cry like petulant children.
