I wonder what it would take for Taiwan to host a couple F-35s for a week - imagine a message that would send with everything going on right now?
Not to get too off topic.. but it's interesting watching the moves against China within the last 2 years. Coming up we have tariff decisions in
mid-December, a special bill handed to Trump with bipartisan support RE: Hong Kong (that China sees as a legitimate threat), it's incredible the moves
we are making from where we were 5-10 years ago. I'm thankful and grateful that the tide is turning.
It's also incredible to watch Europe be reluctant to make any rash decisions RE: Hong Kong with regard to the current protest movement (since they are
in a market downturn at the moment and they fear economic repercussions) , whereas the United States is standing tall and challenging China outright.
The next Cold War is already underway.
