Sometimes I wonder if the radical left is a group of people who’ve been infected by a strain of some sort of alien bacteria that drifted here from a
meteorite, because the way they all act towards others is really not human or of this world.
You bring up something I think about often. If you look at Venezuela and see the end result of socialism you have to wonder what the hell the left is
infected with. Hugo promised the same things Ocasio-Cortez or Bernie are promising, yet we see the ultimate suffering of the people of Venezuela and
we see untold millions of Americans ready to follow right through those gates of hell.
I think humans are like hardware and software and we are interconnected with the ultimate network. I think communism and socialism are like viruses.
In the beginning everything is fine and it even feels good at first. Then when that virus takes root its too late to eradicate and it needs to run its
course.
I think poverty is the ultimate result of all forms of socialism. Look at all the places of poverty in America. There is no creativity or individuals
in those places of poverty. They are a group of angry people that are fueled and justified by the class warfare specialists and the race hustlers. In
black areas of poverty, they blame the white man. In white areas of poverty they blame the black man or jews or whatever. Poverty seems to be the
winning solution for very few. Look at Ocasio-Cortez. She has prospered nicely at the expense of her ideology yet she has created nothing. She is
providing nothing of value and she is creating nothing new. Where will she will be if she is successful though? Look at Venezuela. She will be on top
with the very few haves, laughing her cute little ass off.
I live in Detroit. I know the reputation we have but the recent story surpasses anything we have seen in half a century. In downtown Detroit we have
seen a tremendous amount of investment and growth. After years and years of corruption and mismanagement, capitalism has taken root and there has been
a lot of success. Now, we have to look at the other side of that and see that major poverty is still entrenched in the surrounding neighborhoods.
People do throw around accusations. Things like those people that are remaking Detroit are evil. They are corporate raiders that are keeping the
surrounding neighborhoods and people in poverty down.
Here is the equation between both philosophies. 50 years of various forms of socialism minus 5-7 years of capitalism equals what? Is Detroit better
off now than 5-7 years ago? If so, raw capitalism wins.
Now I was born almost 50 years ago to the day and Detroit has been in a cycle of poverty and strife since the day I was hatched. We haven't seen this
recent type of investment and positive growth since Henry Ford. There was a small ray of hope around 2006 but a corrupt self serving Mayor destroyed
it. For the last 5-7 years, downtown Detroit has seen real economic progress.
I grew up in poverty and one thing I know is that poverty doesn't discriminate. It doesn't care if you are black or white. It only cares that you
conform to blaming black or white.
Whatever..
