Again more complete BS. Larger areas tend to be more democratic. You cannot draw a correlation between democrats and guns. You can draw a correlation between population and crime.

Smart move on Trump's part if these rumors are true. It means all blame for the shutdown is shifted to McConnell. The Dems pretty much had this compromise passed in the House as soon as they came in to power but McConnell didn't bring it to the Senate until yesterday and the GOP voted it down.
