Are there people at the games who actually cheer? Otherwise, cheerleaders are superfluous and a remnant of bygone days.

Most colleges already have male cheerleaders intermixed with the female ones. Granted, most of them are gay, but I never found they distracted me from the females.

Meh, I'd vote for him again in both elections he won considering who went against him. My point was that there's no stigma or problem with guys being part of the cheerleader squad.

Are there really people outraged about this? Or just the usual outrage mob projecting the non-existent outrage they believe their imagined enemies would have and they are preemptively jumping on it?

Asking because I am really struggling to find a large contingent of people who are outraged by male cheerleaders. The overwhelming majority really seem to not give a damn.

Yes, people are really outraged by it. Don't believe me, go on another site and read some comments.
The common ones I see are:

Sick, gross, What's next Female quarterbacks? many other distasteful comments, emojis of vomiting. etc.

I think Robin already beat them to the punch.
