If it was aliens, then Jesus helped.
If it was demons, then Jesus helped.
If it was a dream, then Jesus still helped.

Quit rejecting Jesus, people.

You make this sound like the vast majority are rejecting Jesus. This is not true it's just the very odd person. Most people love Jesus because Jesus loves ALL of us, even the very few that reject him.

OTOH the person who had the experience, knows the difference of a dream or of being awake. Even though such an experience happened to a young kid, who seemingly woke up, to that encounter.

Well sleep paralysis isn't exactly a dream and you aren't fully awake as well. You've been around here long enough so you should already know this.

I've had an episode of SP where I "woke up" and actually started watching TV on my couch for about 10-15 seconds before the actual "event" even started to begin.

Ok. Well in the case of my own childhood encounter, I woke up, and I wasn't paralyzed. I was fully awake and I was consciously moving around, of my own free will.

However, the context is enough that critics can call any experience a dream, if it involves a young kid waking up, to a strange encounter.

Meanwhile, the experience itself was quite clear that I was fully awake... regardless that it doesn't really have a premise for me to argue about it, lol.

Also, now I'm curious about your experience. Is it in this thread? I will look for it.

I think human consciousness has created a very powerful energy by praying to deities, these energies are so powerful they have become like god's, santa clause or bugs bunny may have worked also

I've never been abducted as that's what I'm not physically aware of or can remember such thing.

Although I do think after the many weird sightings that I've might have been?

I read many stories both good and bad experiences from members and some I rather don't want to experience myself.

But I find myself weird that I'm so interested into this topic to understand the meaning behind all this.

I do think I've managed to discover a great deal of it but the annoying thing is that it always comes with more questions then answers..

Personally, though I'm not claiming any experiences are more likely to be dreams, in a completely non-paranormal context I happen to have had countless dreams during my life when I had "woken up" in bed during the actual dream. I hadn't really woken up, this was merely an element of my dream itself. I might stay in bed and think in my dream or have experiences or relate to people (dream people), but I was still asleep and still dreaming, and would wake up truly afterwards.

There were more rare instances of waking up after waking up still within a dream!! There was one short period when I was a teenager when I happened to remember this happening (I usually don't remember my dreams), and it really affected me strangely and I wondered what to do. I decided - the awake me - that I'd try to kind of control the dream just in terms of feelings, very, very basic. Because I thought I could start to get irritated and actually very frightened within the dream if I kept on purportedly waking up through layers within the dream, but still be asleep and dreaming. (A many layered waking up did happen, only a few times.) So I tried to convince myself when awake that I would, each time, just be calm and relaxed if or when it happened, no matter how many times I would falsely waken up, and still be dreaming. I also decided just not to understand the dreams but not judge, and decided not to attempt to 'bind' my dreaming in what it could do. I decided it was up to my dreaming or whatever entities or elements of my mind did that, what world it inhabits / creates, and I wasn't going to seek to tell it what to do. I supposed it had the right, if it wanted, to have me appear to waken up within the same dream a hundred times from midnight to 7 am. (Whether 'it' had 'the right' or not to do confusing things, I decided it was not what I do. I decided dreams are what happen to "you", however much elements of your own unconscious or subconscious mind are or aren't involved.) The only control In was going to consider over dreaming, I thought was probably not control of the dreams, but control of myself - as after all I was going through the dreams. That was the attempted control - basically coming out as simply a desire or will - to remain calm in confusing times and let the dream do what it wanted. I also thought that if I got all hot and bothered about what it was doing, it could be stepping over a sacred boundary into influencing the dream! (Maybe this is like giving the dream process the cold treatment to some degree!)

I just decided I'd take every occurrence of false waking within the dream as it came and relax - I wasn't going anywhere and had no other plans! It worked. The calmness intention somehow materialised in my dreams. Maybe it was some other entity helping me with that.

I was going to wait until I felt more comfortable posting here, but for some reason, it's really been bugging me lately. The anonymity of this site and it being full of like-minded people and all, I suppose the time is right. Keep in mind this is from my childhood and I have absolutely no proof. In fact, I'm hoping someone can debunk or explain my experience so I can move past it. Even the best psychiatrists in Canada couldn't convince me that this was just a dream. And sorry, no UFO's here.

I was just fifteen years old and exhausted after a long day of riding my bike and playing with friends. We had built a fort in an abandoned field behind a tree nursery. I laid down and went to go to sleep, but as I remember I never made it to sleep as my room filled with a slight fog and got very cold. Next everything stretched out and distorted. I remember thinking it looked like the view from the cockpit of the Millenium Falcon as it takes off into light-speed.

Suddenly I feel myself drop onto a cold hard surface, before I could even think to ask where I was, I see small tall insect-like people standing around me. Seriously, they looked like bug heads on a skinny human-like body. It was then that I realized that I was naked and somehow restrained without ropes or anything, partly because I felt a stinging sensation in my personal bits. I look down and see a syringe being filled my mammal sauce. This freaked me out, and I tried to get away, but my body would not move.

For some reason, and I want even religious or anything, still not for that matter I shouted "Jesus Christ... " followed by some other choice words. As soon as those words came out of my mouth the insect people backed away. They were hissing at me and also making clicky sounds like those dinosaurs on Jurassic Park did. I felt myself fall backward and I slammed into my bed where I jumped up screaming.

You're lying, You came to this forum specifically to push the false narrative that the name "Jesus" repels aliens. That is false and you are trying to spread that falsehood. You pretend you don't believe in it, then you claim you are leaning to it being sleep paralysis to make the fake story look even more convincing -- convincing, that is, that you aren't really pushing the "ET= demons" falsehood. But later, you just couldn't contain yourself and defended Jesus. You thought you were clever enough to make it look good -- you played dumb. "I went to a psychiatrist" LOL, and BS to boot. Christians have been spreading that crap for years and you aren't any different. If any ET "flees", it's not because you're shouting the name of a fictitious character. There's another reason that I just don't care to get in to here, but the magical name of jesus isn't it.

Well from what I've been reading..certain extraterrestrials are no longer able to reproduce on their own so they extract our DNA and mix it all up with theirs I guess in hopes of their species surviving or to plant their own here on eartj for their own agenda.....i have no clue really. Just thought that might help you out a little. I have actually read and heard those things though. I mean its kind of arrogant for us to think we're the only ones out in this big space that never ends.

I never said it or implied that it was, in fact, I've stated that this is not the key factor. It's as if they were scared of be being awake the way I took it. You shouldn't be so hostile and quick to jump to conclusions. Besides, I personally identify as agnostic now. I didn't know what I was when I was 15. That phrase is less of a prayer and more of an expression of surprise here.

There's definitely some element of DNA experimentation...

I don't believe the narrative that it's a problem with their own reproduction...

Rather, I think they keep tweaking our DNA, and wondering why humans are so stubbornly primitive and animalistic. Despite their thousands of years of DNA enhancements for us.

Maybe what they're studying is what makes us so stubbornly ignorant, and unwilling to make better use of our advanced abilities that they gave us...

Heck the internet is a great example of that, lol. It's probably built on alien tech, and we've had the internet widespread for a solid 20 years +

But yet, something like 25% of internet use is pornography (like we're a bunch of stupid animals), and even the best examples of internet usage, such as websites focused on exploring the mysteries around us (such as ATS), or sites based on free information sharing (like YouTube), even such sites are still bogged down with people devoted to trolling / bantering / promoting ignorance / racism / conflict, etc.

In other words, even our best use of our best tech, is STILL bogged down with primitive, base impulses.

And it's not for a lack of human capability to be better than this... We're capable, but we remain stuck in the mud of our base instincts anyway.

So we must be quite the interesting specimen to study... especially to try to figure out WHY we insist on living mostly like monkeys, despite all of our advanced capabilities...

It should be noted that just because somebody (even myself) pulls the "sleep paralysis" card, doesn't mean there is absolutely nothing actually happening in these scenarios. Sleep paralysis is definitely an altered state of consciousness, and as such, what you're experiencing is not necessarily all "in your imagination."

We don't know enough about reality and how its perceived yet to be able to definitively say that the shadowy figures you see during sleep paralysis are not actually, really there in some way. They just might be in a different form of "real" than we accept as our normal, consensus reality.
