The drone technique for closing down airport flights was tested in UK at Gatwick and Heathrow over Christmas holidays.

I would suggest it is a way both to monitor and stop deep state flight risks?

What I don't understand about this is that any GPS guided commercially available drone will not take off within the "red zone" of an airport. Unless they're taking off from outside of the red zone and flying in, or there is some sort of firmware hack to disable it. If its taking off outside of the red zone and flying in, I would suspect some issues arise with the GPS and it being a no fly zone. Maybe I'm delusional.

My gut is telling me that POTUS said he will delay SOTU until after the shutdown because he knows the shutdown will be over before 29th - i.e. it will go ahead as originally planned?

ITG, you're right that the GPS disable is supposed to stop drones around airports.

In the UK there were questions around whether it was actually in place and at which airports.

There is also the possibility that the US drone was using military frequencies for GPS and only civilian frequencies were being blocked?

Thanks, EMN. I thought that I had read that in the past and missed it the second time around. It is ambiguous in that it can be read either that the MAP generation had been planned for three years or the process has been planned for a three year cycle.

So, I know everyone is in a tizzy about the NY abortion stuff, but has anyone actually taken a minute to see what the new law actually says? Beyond the clickbait headlines?

Now, dont get me wrong, I dont support this at all, but the fact is, a healthy 9 month pregnant woman still cannot just go to a clinic and get an abortion. It is only if the mothers health is in danger, and then at the doctors discretion. I'm sure there will be people trying to use all kinds of loopholes to get around the law....but the vast vast majority of women who are 9 months pregnant wouldnt even dream of aborting their baby that far along. Hopefully this will be used as intended, to prevent mothers from major harm, and not as an excuse to murder babies for Moloch.

There is no way someone is using a commercially available drone with GPS guidance unless it has it's software hacked. It's much more likely that it's an FPV drone of some sort. There are an insane amount of parts available to build a custom drone for just about anything. My opinion is that these are modified racing drones that have higher power video transmitters and more battery capacity for operating at longer distances and flight times. These things are really fast, like well over 100mph fast

We're definitely seeing an "Art of the Deal" moment here. I just hope Trump manages to finagle the Wall out of them somehow. One of Trump's allies in congress just called for him to use emergency powers to fund the wall. Definitely a veiled threat to Dems.
