Shultz is an Independent in name only. In any other time in American politics he would be a staunch Democrat. Its just that they've gone so crazy lately that anyone not for total communist is seen as a centrist.

Look other than the issue of the wall and border trump is a big softie. He honestly has a big ole liberal heart but has some business skills. Other than the immigration issue they both lead much the same except shultz plays corporate ball and finances a little bit better.

Understand that a large number of ineligible voters can help Democrats in two ways:

1. The obvious way everyone points to is voter fraud where ineligible voters tend to vote blue.

2. The less obvious way is by diluting the pool of likely voters in a district. The districts are apportioned by census, not by number of eligible voters. So if you are a democrats running in a district full of ineligible voters who cannot cast a ballot, you don't have to win over as many people in order to get elected. AOC won her primary on less than 18,000 votes despite living in a highly populated, urban district. Why? A lot of the people living in her district are ineligible to vote.

By contrast, many red districts have more voters in them. The Congressmen and women who come out of those fights have to win over more actual voters to get into Congress. If the true radicals are the minority, then either way, the numbers game favors them with large numbers of illegals.

Why do you think the Democrats are so angry about the proposal to add question about citizenship status to the next census? If districts were redrawn to apportion Congressional seats to eligible voters, the landscape would change.

Nope he has done a few interviews i have heard. The only thing that i really did not like was his answer on gun control. He said he was for gettin weapons of war out of neighborhoods. That is too broad of a statement for me and i hope he was talkin about the guns the police have.
