Any RR workers here?

My dad retired from the RR. Here’s a summary

Lots of walking
Lots of travel
A few dead bodies
A few dead co workers
Unlike other federal jobs your lay offs don’t last long. The rail industry can shut our country down very quickly so they don’t play that non sense. The government has already tried to go after the pension, I’m sure they’ll do it again.

You won’t make a ton of money but my dad was the sole supplier for many years with 3 kids and a wife. While he was gone a lot, I can now respect his sacrifice.
