When the annals of mistakes and abuses in the FBI’s Russia investigation are finally written, Bruce Ohr almost certainly will be the No. 1 witness, according to my sources.
The then-No. 4 Department of Justice (DOJ) official briefed both senior FBI and DOJ officials in summer 2016 about Christopher Steele’s Russia dossier, explicitly cautioning that the British intelligence operative’s work was opposition research connected to Hillary Clinton’s campaign and might be biased.
Ohr’s briefings, in July and August 2016, included the deputy director of the FBI, a top lawyer for then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and a Justice official who later would become the top deputy to special counsel Robert Mueller.
At the time, Ohr was the associate attorney general. Yet his warnings about political bias were pointedly omitted weeks later from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant that the FBI obtained from a federal court, granting it permission to spy on whether the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia to hijack the 2016 presidential election.
They also contradict a key argument that House Democrats have made in their formal intelligence conclusions about the Russia case.
Yet, in testimony last summer to congressional investigators, Ohr revealed the FBI and Justice lawyers had no need to speculate: He explicitly warned them in a series of contacts, beginning July 31, 2016, that Steele expressed biased against Trump and was working on a project connected to the Clinton campaign.

The way this entire thing is playing out, including the release of the latest info, is leading me to believe the people involved wont escape punishment. Shredding the Constitution and engaging in a coup to remove a duly elected President is something even the left cant tolerate. Especially those who have steadfastly defended the Obama people.

This will define obama.
I am stunned he was this stupid.

Clinton was supposed to win.
Those of us who have closely followed the unfolding scandal at the Justice Department— particularly how the FBI abused its power not only to spy on the Trump presidential campaign but also on the president himself—have been frustrated with the inaction both of the White House and Congress. Documents have not been declassified as promised; letters by top lawmakers have gone unanswered with no consequence; and not one perpetrator in the biggest political scandal in history has been held accountable.
The New York Times over the weekend confirmed the worst suspicions: Andrew McCabe, a disgraced FBI official caught lying to federal investigators and fired by Trump, and his corrupt lackeys opened up a criminal and counterintelligence probe into President Trump on the flimsiest of evidence in May 2017.
Further, statements from William Barr, Trump’s nominee for attorney general, seem to indicate he would be deferential to Special Counsel Robert Mueller rather than focus on the real scandal. It was unclear whether a change in leadership at the Justice Department and on the Senate Judiciary Committee (Lindsey Graham took the reins from Charles Grassley this year) would restart stalled congressional inquiries.
A Clean-Up Pledge
But Barr’s confirmation hearing on Tuesday assuaged those concerns.
Republican senators expressed outrage that the FBI had investigated a sitting U.S. president, and Barr seemed to share their disgust. Graham brought up the Times article and asked Barr to “promise me and this committee to look into this and tell us whether or not a counterintelligence investigation was opened up by somebody at the FBI, Department of Justice against President Trump?” Barr confirmed he would. Graham read aloud derogatory texts, some including profanity, about Trump between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
Barr admitted he was “shocked” when he first saw the texts. Graham then walked through a litany of offenses at the Justice Department and FBI, including the FISA warrant on Carter Page and Fusion GPS’s ties to Justice official Bruce Ohr and his wife, Nellie, who also worked with dossier author Christopher Steele.
“We are relying on you to clean this place up,” Graham told Barr.

haha and the stupid bitch still lost the election, I suppose thats why the dems introduced a bill to scrap the electoral college process - mob rule is now the flavour of the month.
Democrats claimed that only in “late November 2016” did Ohr inform the FBI “his prior professional relationship with Steele and information that Steele shared with him.”
“This occurred weeks after the election and more than a month after the Court approved the initial FISA application,” reads the memo, which included the emphasis on “after.”
“The Majority’s reference to Bruce Ohr is misleading,” Democrats asserted. The revelations in Ohr’s testimony create a bit of a dilemma for Schiff, who is now chairman of the House Intelligence panel. In a Feb. 6, 2018 interview with The Atlantic, Schiff remarked on “how flawed the Nunes memo is.”

I don't think Obama is even in the country right now.
Obama hated Trump from the beginning. I think he knew Trump "knew" stuff. That's why he spied on DT from early on. Even O's IRS made sure to audit Trump every year O was in office. It's all coming to light.

Ohr's testimony supports Devin Nunes' report. Schiff's report schifted dates around to hide the fact that they knew the Steele Dossier was paid opposition research, and was not verified, before they presented it to the FISA court.

and the hits just keep on coming......
The top people at the FBI and DOJ were briefed on the dossier by Ohr who made it clear it was opposition research. Apparently that information was omitted by those top people in order to obtain a FISA warrant. This confirms that the dossier is bunk and never should have been used, let alone portrayed by the left and the traitors in our government from the Obama admin, as being an intelligence document.
They also contradict a key argument that House Democrats have made in their formal intelligence conclusions about the Russia case.
As we have been saying from the start.
It gets better. Not only did Orh disclose the source of funding for the dossier he also informed FBI/DOJ that his wife was working for the firm in question.
Even after all this they still went forward with their coup and omitted all exculpatory information, perpetrating a fraud on the court by omission of fact.
There is absolutely no reason to keep the SC now. Everything that has been done by the SC needs to be thrown out and people involved need to be rounded up.
