You make the hats we will shovel our own bullcrap, these a deal.

Its just not that simple, the worlds not great, hence neither is America or the UK, because we exist in a global environment where the next continent over is only realistically a few hours away, with the infostructure in place to bring both goods and people to our respective doorsteps.

The only way any of our nations will ever be great again is to address the larger problems we face as a race.

"You're like a record repeating."

If i was my name would be Brexit. LoL

"At least you can vote the Tory bastards out of office, and they are frequently out of government."

Someone always wins, the replacements are just the same shower of bastards, just a slightly different shade of bastard.

Still not sure why there's such a big deal about Brexit. There will still be trade deals, tarrifs, visas, immigration, treaties etc.

The US isn't part of the EU and we still do business with EU countries and we're doing fine. Relax. LOL You guys are watching too much news.

Full disclosure, I have 100s of relatives in England, Scotland and Wales and probably a few in Ireland that I don't know about.

Ask yourself this who wags both their tail?

What i want is a system of governance that works.

"Which shade of bastard was Hitler ?"

The shade of bastard that the bankers and corporations, from both sides, who sponsored and profited from both axis and allied powers choose to lose i imagine.

Don't try and play the Hitler card, the Man was a Muppet degenerate drug-addled fool who refused to listen to reason nevermind his generals, and also a racist ta boot, quite a few things in common with the current US POTUS if truth be told.

Not True. Sorry but as a Brexit voter (and always will be) my fear isn't those who have changed their minds (although apparently the claimed numbers are highly contested by both sides) it is that I gave my vote. I gave my voice and I want it carried through. We don't get to call a second general election after the one I voted for loses, we don't get to call a second general election when no single party has enough numbers to form a government. People calling for a "peoples vote" or a second referrendum are the very same people who voted to remain. You are turning away from Brexit out of fear of the unknown and that's fine. Just say that is why you have changed your mind and more people will respect that. Although I do not understand the fear people have, trade will still happen (WTO rules) the sun will still come up, the sky will not fall. Yes they'll be turmoil for a year or so but eventually a deal would be made.

The EU and the Remainers want Leavers to fear Brexit, they want you to throw your hands up in the air and say "I'd rather stay in than have Brexit" It is the same as the concept of being bored with Brexit this is what they want. That way if and it may happen, Brexit is over turned the EU cannot be accused of forcing a second vote like they've done so many times before.

A simple second referendum will determine the will of the people now that they know what they are getting themselves into and who will be representing them when they do.

Now that those people are no longer hoodwinked watch the result somewhat swing in the other direction when we do have another referendum, which "May" indeed be on the horizon in the not too distant future.

No whats priceless, quite literally so far? That invisible wall Trumps building.

Its the replacements that are a point of contention.

We can outvote the political parties, but we can't outrun the politician's, someone always wins.

Granted there does not seem to be any sort of viable alternative that's palatable to freedom loving people, but one has to wonder is that by design?

Can't see the point in swapping out the tyrants 620 miles away, who we voted to join not that long ago, for Westminster scum 420 miles away that i know for sure don't have the common Mans best interest at heart.

Best of 5
Is that what passes for democracy?
Or will you have them vote until it goes the way you feel it should?

And you speak of hitler.
What a sick joke.

"Best of 5"

Best of 5 what? Hats, Balloons, silly walls, stupid politicians? LoL

"Is that what passes for democracy?"

Whatever passes for ""democracy"" its as illusory as the freedom and security its supposed to facilitate.

And the fact of the matter is that the UK is a Monarchy, not a Democracy, as arcane a notion as that may be.

"And you speak of hitler.
What a sick joke."

What have i said about Hitler that's not true?

I will speak about whatever i darn well, please, as is my right.

"What a sick joke."

Of cosmic proportion really, shame you simply cannot appreciate the thing not being able to see the forest for all those trees.

Funny democracy is only an issue when it didn't go your way.
Why would a new vote go your way?
Will you cry for another when it doesn't go your way again?

Sour grapes it seems is all you have.
Stiff upper lip and all.

I think it is. It mainly has to do with tarrifs and taxes and immigration policies and visa policies and trade agreements and treaties. All nations have those with other nations. If the EU decides to sanction england with some bad deals, then they can give them the finger and trade with one of hundreds of other countries around the world that will give them a good deal. Easy. Politicians and News and media pundits tend to make things complicated unnecessarily.

As for my relatives. Most are carefree about it, willing to wait and see what happens. No jobs in danger yet, no increasing taxes (at least more than normal), No increased prices for goods ( at least no more than normil inflation increases)

Not often I agree with you....but on this we are 100% in agreement.

Its not about the British people not having the balls, something no-one can truly accuse us of, its about the politicians and the system they seek to preserve being so weighted against the will of the people.

But never, ever underestimate us....we are at our best when our backs are against the wall.

No Deal, bring it on....they've tried before but they'll never bully us into submission!

"Funny democracy is only an issue when it didn't go your way.

Not so the Scottish referendum did not go my way either, but i can live with them apples because English people are hardly an issue, just Westminster.

"Why would a new vote go your way?"

Mays crap nonsensical deal for one thing, hard Brexit for the other.

"Will you cry for another when it doesn't go your way again?"

About as much as you whimper after walls and your lunatic POTUS i suppose. x

"Sour grapes it seems is all you have."

Could that be because the grapes taste like crap per-chance? Your the one with a sour taste in your mouth i imagine.

"Stiff upper lip and all."

Sounds like the voice of experience, whatever sticky stuff that's set on your upper lip is your own concern. LoL
