I've been a Sirius XM subscribing for many years now. But I also listen to Pandora when I'm working. For years I've listened to Ozzy's Boneyard in my car. It's probably one of my favorite Sirius XM channels. Recently, I've really go into solving Sudoku puzzles. I'm so sick of the news and fantasy football is over. So I need something to focus my mind on. If you ever get into Sudoku, you must get the program HoDoKu. HoDoKu is one of the greatest computer program's I've ever used my whole! A masterpiece of brilliance.

Anyway, as I solve Sodukos, learning how to find naked triples and 2-string kites as easy as breathing, I've started listening to Pandora's Black Sabbath Radio station. It's is amazingly good!!! It is millions times better than Sirius XM's Ozzy's Boneyard. Now that I'm hooked on Pandora's Black Sabbath radio I'm thinking how can Sirius XM get the list of songs to play so wrong? Sirius XM has always been into playing deeper cuts. But still, Pandora is so much better.

I"m pretty sick of Sirius XM at this point. My next car is going to be rigged to play Pandora. That's my plan. Thoughts?

First world problems!

From what I understand, you can personalize Pandora much better than Sirius, however I'm not expert.

Yeah, first world problem! And I'm rather snobbish about it too. I can't do much about starving people in Africa. Or the millions of the dogs and cats needing homes. So I have to stick to problems that directly having something to do with my life.

This why I have absolutely no interest in national news anymore. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with my life. I just don't care about what he said she said about what he said.

Seems picking a service to use for your audio entertainment is proving to be out of your control as well!

I'm just messing with you.

Personally, I like to pack my phone or other device full of music before a cruise.

A smoking live version of Children of the Grave.

Pandora has a little less dio, and lots of Sabbath, Ozzy, Zepplin, AC/DC.

There was also a song from Nugent, Floyd, Stones, Danzig, and couple of Hendrix songs.

I just like the mix better.

If you are interested in making a real hard-core comparison, I am pretty sure you can get Ozzy's Boneyard play-list online off some web page. Pandora keeps a history of every song they played on the channel so you can scroll back to see the list.

Yea, those services tend to go off on their own tangents that have nothing to do with my original input.

Yeah, I love to have a MP3 files on some folder on my phone. It takes a lot work to get it right.

If listening to Black Sabbath's 1997 live version of Children of the Grave is how the Illuminati are controlling me then I will bend a knee!

Speaking of bending a knee, I love this Loki clip which to me sounds like God from the Bible:

"KNEEL!!!!!!"

Besides listening to Black Sabbath Radio on Pandora, I've really been into Slayer lately. It's really grown on me over the years. They have so many good songs in their catalog.

I also really like the words to this song:

I got the song title and year wrong. It was the 1997 version. 1979 was the year I lost my virginity. And the title was Children of the Grave. Here's the song they played:

The metal is not harsh enough for me. But the girls in the video is probably why they grew their hair as a tribute!

The only issue I have with Ozzy's Boneyard (it was better when it was just The Boneyard) is that they get stuck in a rut of playing the same songs for weeks at a time, which makes it not much different than terrestrial classic rock, other than being commercial free.

I live with it, because back in the early days of Sirius, I was offered a one time $500 payment for lifetime subscription. I decided to take the offer. I haven't had to pay for Sirius since 2005. It's really not a "lifetime" subscription as it is only good for the life of three receivers. I'm on the second one currently.
