Why do i get the feeling that people are reluctant to reply to posts made by people with warning tags attached?

I received one yesterday for posting a link. It was my own fault for not checking out the site first, so i will stand by the warning, but i have noticed that the posts i have made today have not received the replies that i would normally have got.

Maybe its me suffering from paranoia?

Not at all Bikereddie, I don't believe it has any such effect.

Warns can be given for so many reasons, and purposely gotten by some who feel they just ahve to air a certain opinion.

I don't think there is any judgement cast against those with them....

Anyway, I'm gonna go now because you have a warning and I don't want people to see me talking with you.

I don't think it has to do with that, Bikereddie, I wonder sometimes about some post not getting the responses but I for one will always got for what I favor more.

If you want reliable sources in your search try getting Copernic, at copernic.com, they have a free version and is very good on doing the search for you on any topic.

No offence, but I was hoping no one would reply in this thread, just to enhance your paranoia levels!

I see they stripped you of your avatar as well, thats what you get for not scanning the site your about to post a link to. Just kidding! I don't think a warning will discourage anyone from responding to your thread. In fact, it might just have the opposite effect.

Not sure why my avatar has gone. the link is still active for it. Maybe its my punishment for being bad?

Seriously though, i do wonder why it has gone? Maybe a glich or the server has had enough of showing the Union Jack?

Photobucket is temporarily down.

Some albums currently unavailable for 1 hour while a disk rebuilds. Sorry for any inconveniences.

Your avatar looks to be fine.

But I don't think people avoid posts when they're made with someone with a warning... .they're only temporary, after all.

It doesn't make any difference to me if someone has warnings or not - if the thread interests me I will answer it.

That said, yesterday I used this as my avatar to see how long it would be before someone wondered how I managed to get twenty two warnings

It was less than five minutes before I got my first U2U about it

At first I was curious -- then I checked and none worked to tell me why you got them --- THEN I remembered you can only get 3 warnings in a time period before being banned

I have noticed that members with warns get treated differently. Kinda like a looking down on your mentality. Like, oh he gets warns, don't talk to him or if you do it's slightly rude..just my opinion...Culture is culture and ATS has culture

I've had the odd warn here and there in the past for just deciding someone was a moron and decided to let rip...that kind of frustration is understandable so I'd never look down on anyway who had a warn.

Anyone can see what you got the warn for anyway (unless the thread was removed) so most can make up their mind if it were justifiable or not, I don't think it's just because you have a warn sign.

Plus, as has been previously stated, they don't last forever so don't sweat it...

Just because people get warns doesnt mean they cant change and do the right thing , Chin up my friend you will probably get more but just heed they and keep slugging away ok , Cheers

What is a 'warning tag?' I have never heard of it, but I see you have a little square with the word, 'warn' on it, why is that?

little red tags that appear in your avatar area to tell you you have been warned of a violation it as comes with a u2u that tells what it was for.

it goes away after a couple of days but to many at one time gets you banned
