Looking at the 'zoomed' video imagery, it's easy to tell it's CGI; the inserted image follows an artificial path as it banks to its right and moves to our left across the screen. It looks quite contrived and lacks the smoothness of motion exhibited by an actual object moving through the air.

Maybe it’s not an actual nuts and bolts object moving through the air (IDH).

It ‘appears’ physical to us — but maybe it’s not.

That's a valid point.

However, in this case, I based my opinion on what I observed in the video and what I know about physical science and CGI. It leads me to a conclusion.

Specifically, if this were a non-physical object, there would be no need to roll or bank the craft in the turn, and there'd be no need to make a smooth arc of a turn. That's an inefficient waste of energy.

A massless object would simply change direction at a point in space with no change in speed.

The CGI used here is really no better than the motion of the models used in the production of the Star Trek TV series in the late 1960s. You could see them clunking along on their rails.

When it comes to extraordinary claims like this, I'm not interested in what's possible. "Probable" is the safer bet.

he mentioned that the mountain is about 3.5 Miles away and where that thing came from

so lets be conservative and say it showed up 2 Miles away and travelled that distance in one second, the speed would be about 7200 Miles per hour

if this thing is true then we dont know how it works and if it needs to bank or not

That's an inefficient waste of energy

as if we know what kind of energy this thing if true is using

we need an expert to analyse the video a prove that its CGI

I think we can't tell what it is because it's blurry as usual.

Be nice to get the RAW footage download link.
I mean youtube is great and all but even the 4k is compressed.

Maybe it will give more details to what this is?

looks legit to me too. Sounds like the guy telling the story is serious.

I've seen a couple UFO's in Utah personally so it's not a big jump to think this is real also.

There's definitely things out there we are not being told about. Looks fun as hell to fly one of those though.

One point I would like to bring up, when the narrator says that the image was "On the raw" he is not referring to RAW image format of a camera. In the film industry "raw" referrers to the "original film" in whatever format it was shot in, so I do not think we have actual RAW format to look at.

Also, claiming it was in the raw footage unless you actually were there when it was downloaded from the camera/memory card and watched it right after then there really is no way to confirm it was on the raw footage.

Interesting.

The question is "fake" or "real."

This has the initial sound and "feels" of legitimacy. More vetting of the guys making the claim and the alleged raw footage need to be made, but a cursory evaluation of the channel's history makes this more interesting than most.

Any other declaration other than "unknown at present" is premature.

It sure is interesting, though ... especially to those who know this sort of thing occurs.

After the craft descends the mountain, banks and the straightens, it (to me) looks like a Cylon battle craft from the Original Battlestar Galactica. Could a scene from BG be superimposed on the original production? Could it have been created during the creation of the original filming? IDK, i do not have the expertise in production or post production filming.

I do think it is a man made object, either real or CGI due to the banking and straightening out of its flight above the ground.

I've not seen anything like this before and the treeline does put it into perspective. If it is CGI then the apparent cloaking is a nice touch.

I look forward to seeing further analysis of this footage.

Why are people so focused on the banking?
You can deduce it's following the contour of the land. Low and fast.

Has anyone found where it was on Google maps. Maybe see where it was heading?

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place,I don't see any shadow from the object. The sun would be top right in the video footage from the position of the shadows from the trees in the foreground.Even at that speed if it is real,I'd expect to be able to see the shadow from it somewhere in the video.

Looks really filmic to me. I would even say it has "correct composition".

Yes, I noticed the correct composition aspect too.

Looked at it a few times and with mate both in the film industry be nice to see the raw and metadata but pretty sure good CGI.
Be surprised what can be done now also a very good advertisement for your drone company.
Much as I would love it to be real I do not think it is. Time will tell
