Having watched this live on UK Television the BBC I did not notice this initially (sports+friends=talking, not watching)

He absorbed him, like some sort of absorbaloth....


I'm guessing if the clip were just a second or two longer he would have been shown walking away. It was likely cut right before he emerged as the both moved in the same direction for a split second.
