She will not retire. She will die first.

She can do both at the same time, you know. RBG is special.

The fact that most of his base want Amy Coney Barret on the court necessitates that she be the next nominee. A lot of us wanted to see her for the previous 2 openings.

I realized during the Kavenaugh nomination that Trump is probably saving Barret for when Ginsburg dies. To be brutally honest, Ginsburg is unlikely to last much longer. She can't even hold her head up most of the time you see her. If she wasn't a SCOTUS justice she'd be in a nursing home by now, for sure.

The left lacks the numbers to block anything nominee related at this point in the Senate. The only reason Kavanaugh's confirmation was sketchy was because there were a couple of RINOs (Murkowski, Flake, and initially Collins) who served as blockades to reaching a 50/50 vote split. Flake is gone and Murkowski and Collins no longer serve as blockades with the GOP having a 53-47 advantage presently. Coney-Barrett's confirmation hearing would basically be little more than a formality.

Liberal Democrats are starting to sense the inevitable regarding Justice Ginsburg, as she misses more days of work.

ROGER SIMON says if 10,000 volunteers were willing to take just one day of their own good health, and transfer that day to Ruth Ginsburg, she could, once again, vibrantly serve on the bench another 27 years. (I kid you not!)

As we saw with Kavanaugh, Democrats saddle men with false rape charges.

What would Democrats make up against Amy Barrett that's halfway believable?

It doesn’t need to be halfway believable.
It doesn’t even need to be remotely believable.

Dimwit dem supporters will scream and screech and destroy innocent people’s lives over the most obviously-bullsh’it claims. Just to ‘punish Trumpers’.

We’ve seen that on multiple occasions.

The lying media (held in extreme high regard by the low-iq masses and the easily-manipulated NPC’s) could claim she’s a yet-to-be-discovered serial killer and the dimwits would instantly call for an ‘investigation’ and start smashing windows at her house. Attack her loved ones at work and slandering everyone she’s ever known.

You know, like fascists do.

Hell we’d even have moronic leftists openly lying and claiming they were victims who escaped her ‘death house’.

#believe-all-victims would trend across the hivemind within seconds.

Mark my words. The obvious lie they come up with will be nothing short of insane and the easily-manipulated will fall for it hook, line and sinker. REGARDLESS who the nominee is.

Because above ALL else: Orange. Man. Bad!

1.4% of the US population is Jewish, 33% of the court is Jewish. So is that white privilege or Jewish privilege?

I think 3 SC appointees in a President's first term would be a record?

I wonder if Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg feels that she will be able to continue working at "full steam"?

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has repeatedly said she will retire when she is no longer able to work “full steam” — a promise that could be put to the test this week — or soon after — with the 85-year-old justice sitting out oral arguments while recovering from cancer surgery.

Although Ginsburg said last summer that she hopes to serve until she is 90, she has been consistent about when it will be time for her to hang up the robe: "I said I will do this job as long as I can do it full steam,” she said on Dec. 17 at the New York City premier of “On the Basis of Sex,” a movie based on her early career. Five days later, Ginsburg underwent surgery to remove early-stage cancerous nodules and was hospitalized for several days.

Last February, Ginsburg used the same phrase during an event at the Adas Israel Congregation in Washington, D.C. “As long as I can do the job full steam, I will be here,” she said.

"I will retire when it's time," Ginsburg told NPR's Nina Totenberg in 2016. "And when is it time? When I can't do the job full steam.” She used the same "full steam" phrase on at least two other occasions.

If Ginsburg is serious about her repeated vow to step down if she is not fully robust, liberals could be facing a crisis in the judiciary sooner than they think.

Justice Ginsburg certainly has an affinity for the term "full steam". (Originated in the Steam Locomotive period.)

Some say Ruth Bader Ginsburg hasn't been "full steam" for several years.

I suppose only she knows when her energy and activity level no longer rises to HER definition of "full steam".
