What's the deal with the (invisible) ads?

It's been a while since I posted, but I keep seeing stuff like this, and also other ads when I am logged in. I like ads that are relevant, but couldn't ATS rather have a specific forum for advertisers where they could post for money?

Invisible ads.

Recently I've been getting side by side ads, so the entire page shifts over thanks to the ads stacking on top of each other, then shifts back when I get all the ads closed.

And I seem to be getting a ton of spam emails in the last few weeks.
