IF the Bible were a fairy tale, WHY is it coming true?

The prophecies in the bible have been 100% accurate.

IF it were a fairy tale, why does it transform lives?

IF it were a fairy tale, WHY would millions risk their very lives and be put to death for simply possessing it?

The laws of probability PROVE that it is anything BUT a fairy tale.

The Bible is undoubtedly the most impactful book the world has ever known, transforming innumerable lives. Why, then, would the question whether or not the Bible is a fairy tale be a legitimate one in the hearts of many around the world?

From the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, we read the story of God’s eternal design to redeem a fallen world. With God as its inspiring Author, the Bible is the world’s greatest work of literature, and throughout the ages multitudes have spent their lives proclaiming its truth. Many, in fact, have made the ultimate sacrifice so that others may simply hold in their hands a copy of its pages. Nevertheless, there has never been a book that has been as viciously attacked as the Bible. The Bible has been banned, burned, mocked, ridiculed and defamed. Many have been put to death for simply possessing a Bible. But still the idea that the Bible is a fairy tale persists.

The Bible is without doubt the best documented book from the ancient world, with more than 24,000 whole or partial biblical manuscripts in existence. No other document of antiquity has nearly as much evidence to confirm its reliability.

Another attestation to the Bible’s divine authorship is the vast number of detailed biblical prophecies that have come true exactly as foretold. We see the psalmist, for example, telling of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ nearly a thousand years before it occurred (Psalm 22), and hundreds of years before crucifixion was even invented! Simply put, it would be impossible for human beings to have seen so far into the future with such precision and accuracy hundreds of times. Indeed, it would be completely illogical to believe these proven prophecies are anything other than the work of God. Incidentally, and amazingly, probability experts tell us the mathematical odds of just forty-eight prophecies regarding one person (i.e. Christ) coming true as foretold are one in ten to the 157th power!

But the greatest proof that the Bible is not a fairy tale is the countless number of lives that have been transformed by the truths contained in its pages. Used by the Spirit of God, the holy truths of the Bible have turned millions of sinners into saints. Drug addicts have been cured by it, homosexuals set free by it, derelicts and deadbeats transformed by it, hardened criminals reformed by it, sinners rebuked by it, and hate turned to love by it. No amount of reading “Cinderella” or “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” can effect such change on the soul of man. The Bible does possess a dynamic and transforming power that is only possible because it is truly God’s Word.

Is the Bible a fairy tale?

The Bible was originally translated from Latin into English in 1611.
This original Bible contained 80 books.
The Vatican Removed 14 Books From the Bible In 1684
• 1 Esdras

• 2 Esdras

• Tobit

• Judith

• The rest of Esther

• The Wisdom of Solomon

• Ecclesiasticus

• Baruch with the epistle Jeremiah

• The Songs of the 3 Holy children

• The history of Susana

• bel and the dragon

• The prayer for Manasses

• 1 Maccabees

• 2 Maccabees

The Vatican Church or Roman catholic church has been associated with deception for ages.ranging from genocide to child molestation.
Typically, when something is removed from our direct site by those in power, they don’t expect for us to look any deeper than the surface, but when we do, there is almost always more to uncover than we would have ever imagined.

Very good point...

The fact that counterfeit religions throughout history have tortured, tormented, and killed those who believed the Bible is another HUGE clue that points towards the truth.

Christians were the ones being burned at the stake, they weren't holding the matches. Pope Pious (sp?) ordered more Christians murdered in a single afternoon than all the emperors of Rome COMBINED under 200 some years of Roman persecutions.

Since when did the one institution on Earth which has mass-murdered more Bible-believing Christians than any other institution, or any of its minions, become authoritative “Christian” sources of morality? jamesflory.wordpress.com...

After The Roman Catholic church got underway, they immediately started killing Bible believing Christians with the Inquisition... www.youtube.com...

"Opened on Thursday alongside the Inquisition archives was the infamous Index of Forbidden Books, which Roman Catholics were forbidden to read or possess on pain of excommunication. They showed that even "the Bible" was once on the blacklist. Translations of the holy book ended up on the bonfires along with other ``heretical'' works...

"Canon 14. We prohibit also that the laity should be permitted to have the books of the Old or New Testament; ...we most strictly forbid their having any translation of these books."

DEAD LINK > paintingpictures.xanga.com...

I've heard it asserted that the Roman Catholic church gave us the Bible--but the fact is that she tortured, tormented, and killed people who believed the Bible and the Bible was on her index of prohibited books.

Did the Roman Catholic "Church" give us the Bible?

IF the Bible were a fairy tale, WHY is it coming true?

Why did "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" come true when it was written long before we even had cars, yet accurately describes submarines? Sorry, people have been saying the bible was coming true for 2000 years and it never has. Even the disciples of Jesus thought the end times were coming within their lifetime.

The prophecies in the bible have been 100% accurate.

Nope, sorry. I get you have been told this, but it's wrong. There are many prophecies that have not been accurate and most are extremely vague and/or "fulfilled" in hindsight with stories that ALSO cannot be verified. I could write a story tomorrow that fulfills a prophecy. That doesn't make it true or accurate.

IF it were a fairy tale, why does it transform lives?

Not believing also transforms lives. I know many people that have changed their lives for the better after leaving religion or theism. It gives a sense of freedom that can't be understood when you are stuck under that veil. Not really a good argument. Hope is a good crutch to help people maintain their happiness, but it's not any indication that the stories are true.

IF it were a fairy tale, WHY would millions risk their very lives and be put to death for simply possessing it?

Millions risk their lives for Christianity?? Since when? Can you list these millions of people??? Sorry but martyrs exist in every religion or belief system and millions of non Christians have been put to death for their beliefs including tons of atheists over the years. Another poor argument that invokes double standards.

The laws of probability PROVE that it is anything BUT a fairy tale.

None of that has been PROVED in any way shape or form. LOL @ determining odds by looking at stories fulfilling prophecies with OTHER stories. Come on. There is literally no scrutiny at all and those odds are completely fallacious and made up. How could you possibly know the probability of a prophecy being fulfilled?

The bible is mans creation and man is flawed, and anything man makes is flawed.

That is a irrefutable fact.

I agree with much your post but NOT your TITLE, they are two totally different things. You can believe in GOD/DDESS and not believe a lick of the bible. You can believe that there is a creator but not believe the stories that were written centuries after someone's account....and on and on and on. Not once in your OP did you convince me the bible is true. Just saying the word HE is proof it was written by man....lol...being able to sell your daughter to a rapist, being able to whip your slaves...etc etc. That is NOT a GOD I would ever follow. There is NO PROOF your bible is true. You want to believe and have faith. Yeah, okay whatever makes you happy, just don't try and shove your beliefs down other peoples throats. Have a nice day.

The laws of probability trump your 'irrefutable facts'...

In other words: it is scientifically impossible for your argument to be correct.

Can't say I actually blame you for not citing those 'facts', I'd be embarrassed to publicly say I believed them as well.

The Bible is proven as the word of God by the fulfillment of Bible prophesies. It is mathematically impossible for all of these prophesies to have just happened by chance. This proves that the people that wrote the Bible were inspired by God, for only God could accurately foretell the future, in detail 100% of the time, and at the same time encourage mankind to obey Him.

Source

The chances of just 48 out of the 456 prophecies being fulfilled in one person are 1 in 10 to the 157 power.

"All this illustrates why it is absolutely impossible for anyone to have fulfilled the Messianic prophecies by chance. In fact, a leading authority on the probability theory, Emile Borel states that once we go past one chance in 10 to the 50th power, the probabilities are so small it's impossible to think they will ever occur." LINK

"...once we go past one chance in 10 to the 50th power, the probabilities are so small it's impossible to think they will ever occur....Mathematicians generally agree that, statistically, any odds beyond 1 in 1050 have a zero probability of ever happening.... This is Borel's law in action which was derived by mathematician Emil Borel....

Here is one last illustration of the immensity of the number 10 to the 157th power and why the science of probability shows we are dealing with the miraculous… Imagine one ant traveling at the speed of only one inch every 15 billion years. If he could only carry one atom at a time, how many atoms could he move in 10 to the 157th power of years?

He would, even at that incredibly slow speed, be able to move all the atoms in 600,000 trillion trillion trillion trillion universes the size for our universe, a distance of 30 billion light years! Again, by the laws of probability, all of this means that it is simply impossible for 48 prophecies to be fulfilled by chance. LINK

How do you know that?

There is no way you can know that,... because you don't know what the fabrick of the infinite void is? All we know is that it must take up all Space there is.
You dont know how matter was formed. Science don't even know, but they assume by reasoning.

There is not a Scientific Experiment that can confirm your assumption. When it comes to heat.... heat and light are actually very coexisting.

But we can pimder on you

Yes, true nothingness must be something. If we assume that infinite exists there must be a void of space that takes up all Space there is. And that void can only be a aboslute empty void of space. That means there are no other particle, matter or energy present within that void.
Because then we would not be at the actuall beginning of Things/time. If this void of absolute infinite void of Space was occupied by other particles. We would have to be able to explaine how these masses got into this infinite void of Space.

So the question is not if a absolute infinite void of Space exists. It's all about how did this void of Space form mass/finite that take up space within the infnite void of sapce.

If you look at this image and assume that this was the very first particle. Ask you self: How did it get there. If it is the first mass/particle…...what void would have formed it? Look at the dark infinite void of empty space surrounding the mass? You by common sense, know that the mass did not form the the space surrounding itself.

By looking at this image you also have two timelines. A infinite timeline and a finite timeline. Do you know what void/mass that represents the finite and what void that represents the infinite timeline?

It is not hard to observe that there are two timelines present in the image.......... One void is a absolute constant and the other is a finite.

That is a ridiculous example using submarines. It is nothing more than an under water vessel which anyone can imagine even before they were ever made. It's even a logical assumption to build one so you don't drown down in the water without one. You keep creating ridiculous excuses to defame that book because of what? Pride and hate? Just curious.

Analogy? If information is more fundamental than energy or matter, than the mere existence of any form of information may be the basis for reality, for all of existence. Not in an analogy but in a literal way.

Your still making claims about something we have not discovered. That scientists say it most likely does not exist.

Until we find this nothing, all claims maked about it are useless claims.

This nothing only exists abstractly.

Thank you for ignoring my entire argument and failing to even give a single rebuttal to any point I made! Let's not talk about credibility when you essentially just talk to hear yourself talk.

Many of your treasured bible scholars agree that the apostles of Jesus thought the end times were coming within their lifetime. This is pretty common knowledge. Where are your sources for proving that revelations is coming true? Let me guess, you interpreted vague signs that can literally mean anything and ASSUMED a connection. OMG a big hurricane, it's totally one of the 4 horsemen! Sorry, but people have been claiming biblical signs for centuries.

It's not ridiculous at all. He claimed that accurate predictions in the bible prove it true. Submarines were predicted in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea before we even had cars. It's easy to imagine that now. This proves that accurate predictions don't necessarily make a story accurate or true and that book is one example of such out of many. The Quran makes predictions, Nostradamus made predictions, astrologists and clairvoyant scammers make a living doing precisely that.

Whether people can imagine those predictions is completely irrelevant. People can imagine anything, we are creative beings. The fact is, it happens, and it doesn't turn fiction into fact. If aliens invaded our planet tomorrow would that suddenly make War of the Worlds or Independence Day a true account? Nope, it just means they got lucky and guessed something that ended up kind of happening.

I didn't make any excuses, I just demonstrated his flaws in logic. People treat the bible differently than all other books and stories when it comes to logic and reason. They just assume everything is automatically true without scrutiny. HE is the one that made the excuses to try to justify it.

People, this is how stupid people rationalize things that are beyond them....

'He knows because 'science' tells him so... 🎵🎵🎵'

This is what ignorant people think about science, science is not an authority but a label...

Science (from the Latin word scientia, meaning "knowledge")

However the scientific method (from wiki):
A scientific theory is an explanation of an aspect of the natural world that can be repeatedly tested and verified in accordance with the scientific method, using accepted protocols of observation, measurement, and evaluation of results. Where possible, theories are tested under controlled conditions in an experiment.
In circumstances not amenable to experimental testing, theories are evaluated through principles of abductive reasoning. Established scientific theories have withstood rigorous scrutiny and embody scientific knowledge.
The meaning of the term scientific theory (often contracted to theory for brevity) as used in the disciplines of science is significantly different from the common vernacular usage of theory.
In everyday speech, theory can imply an explanation that represents an unsubstantiated and speculative guess, whereas in science it describes an explanation that has been tested and widely accepted as valid. These different usages are comparable to the opposing usages of prediction in science versus common speech, where it denotes a mere hope.
The strength of a scientific theory is related to the diversity of phenomena it can explain and its simplicity.
As additional scientific evidence is gathered, a scientific theory may be modified and ultimately rejected if it cannot be made to fit the new findings; in such circumstances, a more accurate theory is then required. That doesn’t mean that all theories can be fundamentally changed (for example, well established foundational scientific theories such as evolution, heliocentric theory, cell theory, theory of plate tectonics etc).
In certain cases, the less-accurate unmodified scientific theory can still be treated as a theory if it is useful (due to its sheer simplicity) as an approximation under specific conditions. A case in point is Newton's laws of motion, which can serve as an approximation to special relativity at velocities that are small relative to the speed of light. Scientific theories are testable and make falsifiable predictions.
They describe the causes of a particular natural phenomenon and are used to explain and predict aspects of the physical universe or specific areas of inquiry (for example, electricity, chemistry, and astronomy). Scientists use theories to further scientific knowledge, as well as to facilitate advances in technology or medicine.
As with other forms of scientific knowledge, scientific theories are both deductive and inductive, aiming for predictive and explanatory power.

How does your beliefs sit with this more than logical view point? How is science less than your ability to ascertain the truth?

Your entire 'argument' is only that, argument...

Not really, I think your looking in the mirror dude.
