What is with these handbags? They are on every continent in similar illustrations. A god figure holding a handbag. Sometimes with a watch on the wrist.
Anyone have an answer? That makes sense?
Obviously has some real meaning and significance. But what? I just draw a blank on this.

I didn't post pictures. Those that know what I'm talking about know what I'm talking about. If you don't, look it up.

If you take the time to make a post, why not take the time to include a link to exactly what you're talking about?

"What's with these handbags? What's the deal with airplane food?"

If I saw what you're talking about, I could probably lend what I could in the ways of objective heresay.

ETA: The oldest handbag to date was found in Germany, believed to be dated around 2500 BCE. which means its the oldest surviving example, so probably a century or two before that would be my guess. So it's just... you know... Pictures of things that existed?

Handbags are a good way to carry stuff.

Well, they do look like watches, but maybe they really are fitbits. As for the purses, I think it was a fad for a while to have purses to hold money in back in those times. Guys grew out of it, women kept it up. Maybe those are not purses, maybe they are laptops.

To me, this is a bigger mystery than the pyramids. Too weird to be dismissed.

I take it the OP is talking of these bags. here this article throws up a rather interesting if not somewhat speculative view on what they were. bottom line though no one truly knows. Unless we discover an intact version somewhere which is of course highly unlikely I feel we may never know for sure

It is better to have one and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

It is interesting as to why so many civilizations would put it into an carving or sculture.

It makes me also think about gold, and why it was important to so many different cultures.

Try changing your point of view.

So there were Gods. They had handbags.

They also had transport because ... Gods ... and they visited many peoples all over the world ... who drew them, painted them and made statues of them.

Where the Gods visited is where the handbags are depicted.

See, no more mystery.

I hope handbags arent treated like revered objects in the future, or your kids
not yours, but the publics, will be worshipping the Kardashians as some kind of gods. That to me is worrisome considering how the young and entitled behave in our present day.

In further news today ...

... The Samsunginians made dramatic inroads to the disputed territory, easily destroying forward elements of the iPhoneians.

However the Hunwains outflanked both with the iPhonians losing more territory.

All three religious leaders will meet in the Holy Grotto within the Most Holy Place of Silicon Valley for Peace talks but no one is holding out much hope..

Also in today's news ...

A Heretic was executed today after making remarks regarding using the Blessed Silicon as a bathroom sealer. The Heretic died well. Such Blasphemy! Words fail me.
