Some people wear really, really thick tin foil caps, that prevents them from discerning science fact, from the fiction inside their heads. It's just like talking to flat earth believers, so my question is to you, why bother? Usually, I just ignore these types of threads and let the non-believers enjoy their narrative, because it doesn't affect my life in the least. This guy will probably tell you that NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) doesn't exist and the pictures it took of the landing sites, shown below, are fake.

there is a slim chance i was fed misinformation by tv people, they always mess with me. when i get money i will buy book again, if above top secret writes a book maybe they were messing with me, its like biodome sometimes with pauly shore i dont really remember movie but big glass dome over my place and the other day my symptoms came back for two days and i was thinking whats the point another runalong sentence i talk telepathically with intelligence i am pretty sure i am the only one who has to do this and listen to monologues people voices i know in real life say and after nine hour sessions when your whispering quiet so your sister doesnt hear and they keep responding why do i have to do this? its a very old contract and powers that be making a lot of money.

I think the only way this whole moon landing thing gets solved is when they start going up there consistently and regularly and you could probably buy tickets to go up there. And people know people who have been or have been themselves.

Till then? Nothing will be solved. And it is beyond pointless to even think about it, much less talk about it.

But then again. What do humans know of reality or space, not only can the moon landings be fake but the whole space phenomenon could just been one long decades long hoax perpetrated by who knows who, maybe even NASA. There still waiting for NASA or Bush or Trump or the governments to release disclosure on aliens and all that. But really what would happen if 50 years from now they release that it was all a decades long joke and instead of aliens disclosure you got a got ya suckers disclosure?

Ok guys here's what happened...The Moon Landing was real in 1969 and it happened as they said except for one small bit. They couldn't guarantee quality footage and for the money it cost someone demanded a backup plan to not spoil the event, they used the best Movie Producer in Kubrick to pull it off for them and at some point they switched to the studio live or they may have even done the footage before the event.

Everything can be explained by the above account....cardboard lander to labled rocks.

Well put. Whatever the truth is, if we went or we didn't, there is something wrong with the story we've been told. There are a lot of coincidences and questions, but overall, I think a lot of people sense that something is off, even if they can't put their finger on exactly what it is.

A likely scenario that explains the confusing evidence. We went.

I think they saw something that can't be discussed even today. THE Mystery of our lifetimes.

Show us the studio. Identify the camera operators, the lighting people, the grips, the runners. Who built the set? Who delivered the material to make the set? What happened to it afterwards? All those people and not one blabbermouth wanting to earn a few dollars selling the story?

Maybe that is why they left out the stars. You have to account for position and make them moving in the background with proper parallax.

The stars weren't seen for the same reason you don't always see them in pictures taken on earth. The camera wasn't set up for long exposure, and there was a fairly significant light source that blotted them out.

The funny thing is: Over the years here on ATS, we've had so many that show up with "The Proof" that we never went to the Moon.....only to get their "proof" debunked and trashed.....some times rather quickly. Over and over and over and over. There is a really good reason why we place threads like this in Skunk Works: The evidence we went is overwhelming, while actual evidence that it was faked is almost non-existent and pretty much ends up being people trying to change the evidence to fit their Moon Landing Hoax Hypothesis instead (which is not how you do Science). We do have some die hards around here still that tend to troll the threads, but by the end of the day the results are always the same: Moon Hoaxing Debunked. It alway boils down to this: We had the tech to go. We did NOT have the tech to fake it properly. It was easier to actually go, but would have been much harder to fake it. It would have been impossible to keep secret, especially from other countries like the Soviet Union, who would have gladly screamed their heads off that we faked it....but they didn't because we didn't fake it. Risk of failure was always a possibility. Failure would have been demoralizing to the US citizens at the time. However: The risk of getting caught faking it would have been hundreds of times worse. Not only would the US lost face with every country on the face of this planet, but with it's own citizens. Better to make dead heroes.......than to be caught lying and faking. I know that last part is hard to believe, especially in today's world where we are lied to all the time by our government and politicians. Back then however, it was a much different place. If it was too hard to go to the Moon for real......then why did the Soviets try so hard? People should stop and go take a look at their records, film and video that became available after the fall of the Soviet Union. They did try, very, very hard and damn near beat us there.

Every single time this topic comes up, it's been most thoroughly debunked. Proven to be, the pun is unavoidable, moonshine and faery dust, time after time after time. This is but the latest in a long series of threads on this topic. I've been here nigh on this my 13th year as a member--many have been here even longer.

Every year, every month it seems sometimes, "proof" of the hoax is brought forth. Would you like to know how often it's something new?? Never. It's nothing that hasn't been proven to be false advertising.

As Erik pointed out, correctly I might add, it was, in the '60's easier to actually travel to the moon, then it was to fake it.
