Reports of Russians killed and American leave cancelled in Europe.

Things might be heating up in the Ukraine, as Israeli news quotes independent sources, which seem to suggest the Marshal law in the Ukraine was organised to mobilise and provoke Russia's annexation of Crimea
Perhaps this is why Ukraine's "Almost Nato' status is being used , and American advisors seem to have lost in Syria and are now moving to another theatre. All this is dangerously close to the Russian border I don't think Putin will mess around. We are being told nothing.

The US leave that was canceled was never approved in the first place. The 4th CAB was told they'd be able to get leave for the holidays, but it wasn't approved at the time. It was ultimately denied, resulting in a canceled leave story.

“Due to mission requirements, an exception was not supportable,” Beth Clemons, a U.S. Army Europe spokeswoman, told Army Times on Thursday. “Unfortunately, many soldiers purchased tickets before the leave approval process was complete.”

Under normal circumstances they would have got their Christmas leave. Here is a more up to date version of events

Not necessarily they wouldn't have. I've seen lots of units not get leave for the holidays. Not everyone can get leave at the same time.

Why not France? They have a brutal, dictatorial regime using chemical weapons on it's own people. They have weapons of mass destruction. They could be hours away from nuking the US East Coast. The French Regime has made comments critical of the US Government.

We should already have a no-fly zone over the country to prevent Macron from killing his own people. We should be supplying the Freedom Fighters with weapons and military advisors.

And we should go back to calling them "Freedom Fries" at the Congressional Cafeteria.

Their seems to be a new development, with the senate asking all allies to stop Russian ships from getting supplies from allied ports. They really want their war.
