According to Opinionway, the poll carried out for LCI television, 49 percent of viewers thought he had been "wholly" or "mostly" convincing, while 50 percent thought not.

The figures in favour of Macron were nearly twice as high as those which followed a speech on November 27 when he had shown no sign of giving ground.

This article clearly shows how Liberals in France and everywhere else are afraid of this movement when putting into considering of the demands made by the movement.

The Liberals and MSM outlets at first though that the Yellow vets protests were all about just the gas hikes which Macron originally pushed through with his Carbon Tax. But that wasn't the case. The Protests agaisnt Macron was alot more then just gas taxes.

The Mainstream News Media seems trying to defend Macron as their heroic hero. While eyeing the protesters as the villains.
Liberals in Europe are now scared. Because such movements could explode.

It will be interesting to see how effective their propaganda network is. I do not think the MSN is gonna work all that well after listening to some French interviews ..

MSM seem to still believe polls are influential!

In the UK general election 2015, 100% of the pre-election poll results were wrong and did not in any sense reflect the actual outcome of the election.

I cannot for one moment believe French working classes being shafted by their puppet govt are now saying they no longer support yellow vest movement.

Are any of these polls online? If so, I believe the respondents are neither working class nor French.

Also consider that not a single one of the people being polled were wearing a yellow vest at the time.

Lol. The MSM still thinks they control and shape the Agenda of the people. It feels a little like watching the Communist Party claim their were still in control as the Cold War ended.

Or this close to Christmas the French people would rather concentrate on that than having parts of Paris and other cities closed down because of the protests , Macron has signaled that he's willing to listen and make concessions so perhaps now is the time to stop and see if he delivers.

Fake opinion polls have been used for decades to influence public opinion. It is amazing how bah-d the sheep-effect can be.

Look at the polls around the 2016 election. Or the extreme gaps between mainstream/far left polls. Heck, even the reporting shows a clear bias... when CNN/MSNBC is reporting >95% negative stories about Trump you know something is really off. They ignore every achievement, accomplishment and good thing he does for this country and instead drones on about (largely irrelevant) nonsense or things that occurred while he was a private Citizen and makes baseless highly-speculative allegations of criminal misconduct where no such conduct has been established

You are right there AtlasHawk, the liberals are afraid of this movement because it shows how powerful and united the RW is. Not just Nationalists/Conservatives/Libertarians in America, but those in France or GB or any number of countries around the world

Of course, if it is BLM/antifa thugs the left is all over it with support and pseudo-pre-planned-scripted-fake apologies

Much the same way as they ask us to get bent out of shape over Citizens lying to the government (such as Manafort or Flynn) while government lies 6 ways from Sunday every single day of the week without consequence. Hard for me to support private citizens being incarcerated/bankrupted for doing what the corrupt government does as a matter of policy

Yet where is the left's outrage over this? They are terrible people and apparently think pretty lowly of all of us if they think we are truly that gullible. They must think we hang on every word they say, or something like that. When in actuality, most believe very little of what they say (probably why conspiracy theories are so prolific and widespread these days)

True, but hopefully it will have the effect of Galvanizing the RW movements in France and keeping them United in opposition to globalism and anti-French policies perpetuated by the French government against the French people (either directly or via taxes AKA forced acquisition under threat of force)

Well, I guess it's time for NATO to support the Freedom Fighters in their quest to overthrow their brutal, oppressive regime, just like we did in Syria. Declare a no-fly zone over France to prevent the regime from using chemical weapons. Bring in some "advisors" and weapons, and discuss putting boots on the ground.

Right now, the exact same is happening for all countries that have a "Yellow Vest" protest ongoing. The Govts. around Europe are targeting any opposition using the damages caused by Yellow Vests, as they did against students in '68. They attempt to discredit any change in govt, as chaos using Yellow Vests now, or the 68ers back then.
