Is it just me or is a Truckload of pop ups assaulting your screen when on ATS recently?

Ive heard other people say this sort of stuff in the past but its never affected me before.

A pop up will come on every single page I look at on ATS, previously Ive only ever seen ads on banners.
Is it site wide or is it just me?

If its me is it due to me visiting or posting less?
Is there some sort of algorithm that ATS uses that says when you visit/post/spend a certain amount of time on the site?
If there is can you tell us all what it is because I will happily visit/post/leave it open in my browser more if that what it takes to get rid of them hahaha.

MODS can you help me out here please?

P.s Im almost certain this is some sort of conspiracy against me, if you know whats going on please let me know, cheers in advance

I only get them when I try to view/read on my phone, but the ads that come up hijack my screen and won't let me go back to the page I was reading unless I close my browser. I have blocked popups on my phone's browser, but it has no effect. It has gotten to the point where I don't bother with ATS on my phone any more.

On my computer however, I never see any, except on those mornings after I have the reptilian time travelers over for drinks......

I think you have the great beginning or frame work for a conspiracy but it will need to be fleshed out.
Why are they doing it? how long have they been doing it? how did they do it? etc etc

I dont get them on my phone at all, kinda backs up my theory theres an algorithm in place because I browse ATS more on my phone now which is also why I post alot less.

I just got my screen hijacked to some dodgy ass site while typing this.
Its also saying not secure on my web browser, its big and red and Ive never noticed it before. Is that normal?

You didnt really offer a conspiracy so 0/60 but you did give us all a lead on how we can track the movements of the reptilian time travelers, we just need to stake out your place and follow them when they leave. Cheers

P.p.s Seriously how do I get rid of them? They are really REALLY annoying and invasive, they seem to always appear right where I need to click on reply or edit or whatever. Grrrrrrrr

I like when they flicker because it means theyre gone for a second, it sometimes happens when you scroll.
Sometimes if you scroll real slow its almost like theyre kinda nearly not there much

I have pretty much given up on my phone and the notebook is getting so 2/3 of the screens blocked sometimes.

I never click on ads, like seriously who the fruck does???

I would gladly pay a monthly fee equal to but probably more than ATS makes off me in ad revenue in exchange for being ad free

Identical situation for me.

ATS is unusable on mobile, after 15 seconds I get a browser hijack to an ad. Very frustrating.

I'm tired of the take over your phone ads.

So tired of it that I will be turning off all ads.

Happens to me also. I usually can go to my history delete the offending ad-pages-popup then select what I was reading. Why should I have to. I think I'll check out the duckgo thing. I'm not too crazy about having a lot of apps.

Some will have you believe that because only a select few have this problem, that it is not a problem that should be fixed by ATS. Yet if they said the same to some one with cancer, there would be hell to pay.

IMO ATS was bought out by some company and the mods were kept on and told to zip it...zip it good. The alternative is that they just don't care enough about the users to fix it.

Try using the Brave browser

Yesterday, both My IPad and iPhone got hijacked with redirects. I would get redirected within 3 seconds of getting on ATS. I checked all throughout the day with no success. I was curious if I would be able to get on this site today — here I am.

I even went to google searching for a way to fix it — no success. Updated my iPad because of it as well, no bueno.

The pop up ads don’t bother me as much. The redirects, on the other hand, make me want to SCREAM!!!

Yep, on Chrome and Safari both. I have to back out (if I can), and clear my history to get back on the internet. Grrr...

I'm just tired of the nasty banner about dipping tobacco and what it does to your bottom lip. So gross to look at.
