It was US stratcom saying they can drop an even bigger one (than the Time Square ball)... followed by a vid of a Stealth bomber dropping 2 large bombs that looked like Bunker busters (it was a target practice run though).

The B-2 has done the Rose Bowl/Rose Parade flyover every year in recent years. They flew with two F-35s at the Jan 1st Rose Parade to honor Maj. Benjamin Meier, an organ donor who flew for the 31st TES. He was killed in 2015 when the mirror on a truck hit him in the head while he was jogging.

The message about dropping MOPs is nothing but the usual "look at us" videos that get released periodically.

It's a B-2 dropping two GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOP). They're 30,000 pound bunker busters. The B-2 is the only platform designed to carry them in combat. They were tested with a B-52, but they were designed for the B-2.
