Before cranky arrived on earth, he was advised not to join any group that would have him as a member. Especially one with a pyramid structure. To date I have avoided it all, with no downside and thankfully I have avoided any personal sense of self worth derived by associations with said systems, systems soon to be blown to bits.

CHICAGO (CBS)–Longtime political consultant Brian Sleet has died at age 41, his colleague confirmed.

Sleet managed the campaign of Cook County state’s attorney Kim Foxx, according to the Sun-Times. He also served as a spokesman for the Obama Foundation, the newspaper reports.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office ruled Sleet’s cause of death as hypertensive cardiovascular disease.

I'm more concerned about the 9-1-1 outages, honestly. I'm hearing it could have been a virus, but in my opinion it would need to be a sophisticated hack. Those systems are pretty tight.
