I guess this would be sleep paralysis though I don't accept explanation that it is soley a medical thing. I believe it is spirits at work.

I have been depressed for a while and when you are depressed you come to look forward to your dreams. Well one night I was feeling particulary low and I thought the following words "make me feel alive". Well I got what I asked for.

Soon after I drifted off to sleep, I awoke to a vibrational energy invading my body. I couldn't move, though I didn't see anything holding me down. All I saw was a bright pink image of some flying saucers projected onto my wall. For some reason this image was the most terrifying thing. I closed my eyes but something forced me to open them and stare at this image. I then thought, hey its just a dream and so I forced myself to wake up as I do sometimes. But this time, when I "woke up" the thing was still with me and the image was still on the wall and I STILL couldn't move. I cringed and closed my eyes again and after what seemed like a long time and a lot of chaos I was out of it.

A few days later I felt the same force as I was drifting off to sleep but this time, in my subconscious state, I pleaded with it "no not again please don't do it again" and as it turned out, this episode was shorter and not scary. I ended up floating directly up and then through the wall into the adjacent room, where I ended up hovering in the ceiling corner for a while. I remember I seemed to be "stuck" there.

I think this story is good evidence about how the spirits do listen to us.

Hi Joe:
You know that saying....."wish I knew then, what I know now"?

In the spirit of tongue-in-cheek, positive feedback and hoping you take this the right way, I suggest you print out your post, frame it and hang it up on your wall.
I assure you, sometime in the relatively near future....you will read it at some point, have an epiphany, and have the most wonderful laugh at yourself and us, who've managed to show SO muuch more discretion than many such boards, having "beentheredonethatwishwehadn't"

very intresting dream there but I belive it's posted in the wrong category, it may possibly be more real than what you may belive.
But please dont take my word just do some research on alien abductions and you may find a thousand or so similar eventful dreams express by abductees....

Joe I included a link to a thread I posted several months back, let me included my Mom and my brother both had what we belive were dreams along with me this very same night...

My thread

2nd Seed I had heard about these kinds of things being related to alien activity. Maybe the pink image on the wall was a means of transferrring some kind of data to me or something.

I just read that post again. Sounds wild. I think you'd be interested to know a very similar story my friend told me happened after him and some others smoked some bowls. He said they had been really stoned and heard a very clear, very loud mystical whistling sound. And they didn't know where it was coming from, but it wasn't there TV. I don't think any of them went outside; they just froze up instead. When my friend told me this story I was interested in how he described the whistling. He said it was very pure tones and sounded beautiful. I think maybe the whistling has to do with orienting your body into the proper resonance or maybe putting you into a trance. I don't discount my friends story because they were using drugs. In fact, it is my personal belieft that aliens/spirits prefer to contact you when you are in an altered state.

Sp is down right terrifying I have had 100s of episodes....when it began I researched it and spoke to a doctor, I began doing my own experiments...I learned to induce it at will, stop it when the vibrations were right and go from SP to Out of Body experience. I have experienced this when people were around me, or sleeping right beside me and I can assure you, they did not see the terrifying true to life hallucinations I was seeing at the time, or the terrible forboding "feeling" of tremendous evil which often accompanies the syndrome...I can guarantee myself one of these episodes when Im up for over 24 hours so I guess I ll be getting some of this"action" tonight. I dont fear it anymore... but once in a while, it comes up unexpectedly, That feeling that is like when A movie turns bad... with the darkness and scary music, you know something is about to happen, well I have to say it sometimes catches me of guard. The first time I succumbed to the "feeling" of the paralysis and "evil", I went right into what I would sware was an alien abduction...somethings grabbed me under each arm and I skyrocketed into the air....well this didnt actually happen, my house was filled with people for a funeral......so I myself once believed these things were paranormal but I have proven to myself it is all interpretation.
I have to add, that after the alien hallucination, I did find myself truely, "elsewhere" which I would consider a projection to another plane of existence, a truely profound experience that cannot be discribed with words, but I have told the story to the best of ability on ATS..It was like an OOBE, but it was a denser world unlike the transparency of the astral world which for me is all blue color scale like arctic ice.--If you have had one you would know it was NOT a dream and you would understand exactly what I mean.

I still believe there is a logical scientific explanation....somewhere sometime
