I think the main issue with him in the eye of the public was that he entrepreneur/celebrity when usually most politicians come from political science and stuff.

Trump is absolute scum.

He is not a politician, its true. He is worse than that. He is a conman, a fraudster, a liar and a cheat, and he did not EARN any of the money he has. To EARN money, you have to work for it, and Donald Trump has never worked for anything in his entire life. He started out with daddies millions, then stole and cheated and lied his way to more and more millions, until he had billions. Any idiot crook who starts out with ten million plus of family money can turn it into billions without actually working for it. Put another way, unless you start out with no advantage, then you did not earn your status in later life, it was given to you, and that is what he is. An entitled little silver spoon gobbler, too dumb to make his own money, but just about smart enough to convince even bigger idiots that he did.

He is also a hypocrite. He was more than happy to use labour from immigrant communities in the states, and still is, despite all his rhetoric, and no, he was not choosy about whether those individuals had the necessary paper work, because he inserted managers between himself and his resorts to scapegoat about matters like that. He is also more than happy to use labour forces outside the US to manufacture items for sale in the US, despite the fact that he has lambasted countless companies for doing exactly that.

And of course, he is a criminal. Before he ever got to campaigning for the office of president, back when he was in lying to people about construction instead, he ran projects during which contractors from glaziers to plasterers, from groundworkers to crane operators, where denied pay, materials which went on jobs were not paid for, and his decision to steal from these ACTUAL hard working construction professionals, led to the closure of many of the companies which he contracted in to do work on his behalf, including a great many of the companies which helped construct his Atlantic City casino, the Trump Taj Mahal, a venture which cost a billion dollars and was a massive failure from the very beginning.

This man made an entire career out of stiffing REAL hard working Americans out of their hard earned money, be it by getting them to work and not paying them for their efforts, or by putting his name on projects he knew to be dodgy, in order to pull in investment from ordinary people, despite knowing that those projects had nothing to do with him, and furthermore that they would fail. He is a mercenary piece of crap at best, and the lowest sort of criminal at worst.

Trump is a greed is good repeating villain, who lacks the manly prowess necessary for the growing of a moustache to twirl, but has every other element of the moustache twirling villain down to a T.

What is worse than all this however, is what he gets people to believe about him. Look at Dem0nc1eaner's post, first response in the thread. They state, and I quote:

I really like Trump, he says what he thinks, he's not a politician and he genuinely seems to be railing against the old guard, which is exactly what he was voted in for

This is the product of how practiced a liar Trump is. He has made otherwise reasonable people think that:

a) Saying what one thinks is more important than thinking decent things

b) Not being a politician is automatically better than being one, regardless of what other manner of decrepit, amoral filth you might happen to be

c) That it is possible to rail against the old guard (that is hypercapitalists backed up by a racist heartland, like during the sixties, seventies and eighties) by being every bit as greedy, amoral and hateful as they were at their worst, many decades ago.


This man could literally stab a supporter in the stomach, twist the knife, and as long as he kept talking the person into believing that this was a good thing for them and could very well lead to them being better off in the long run, they would accept it. That is the sort of vile monster we are talking about. A moron, who can talk crap so effectively that he can make his victims worship him. It doesn't take any skill, but it does require a sociopathic mindset and a beyond broken moral core.

Different is not always better. When its something else or Trump, even if the other thing is death, a moral person chooses death instead.

I think he is okay. It's a difficult time to be president of any country. Far more so of the USA. He is smart, he knows that you need to play the system or the system plays you. I believe it's necessary for a parsdigm shift to happen. Especially in the USA.
It's easy to confuse Trump with his followers. I believe they are fundamentally not the same thing. Not even rhe same ball park. My issues are with some of his followers not with him.
He is crass but in a funny entertaining way. Totally New York. I can live with that.
He has a big ego too. But I don't mind.
The only thing I don't quite understand is why his daughter is working for him that seems like some dynasty stuff I can't handle, it's not bad yet but observed.
We'll see, right? He still has a few years to show us what president he will be.

No the US is a REPUBLIC. We have a Electoral system in federal elections. The constitution makes it clear that Federal law trumps state law in laws passed at the federal level dealing with constitutional rights. the Electoral college IS a indirect election device,because IF we relied on Popular vote the US would had become a russian Proxy by now due to california and ny and illinois.
