Interesting view of the areas burned by the Camp Fire as well as those miraculously spared. Seems the canyons got the worst of it due to vertical fuel load. The devastation is near-complete and those who escaped destruction were the few and fortunate. The lessons learned from this fire will hopefully save lives and property in the future.

Thank you for another insightful, yet very sad, video relating to the fires.

I really felt the impact being a "passenger" in the plane.

Really sad, thanks for sharing the threads and hope it's not what it seems. The management of the area knew of the death trap of three ways out for example but did not correct it. The rural, more isolated elderly and or disabled became major targets, even if they were alerted by other than phone alerts it was mostly too late, if not to have to sit in lines of cars with no way out. Luckily some made it to hide in a local lake on an island in the middle, and surviving the hypothermia that was setting in.
