Milk farts are worse than beer farts.

When you’re lactose intolerant you don’t drink milk. So...

This planet is worth defending.

I agree. But I see comments all over the internet, this website even, wishing the end of the planet. That we don’t deserve it.

I wish I didn't have to. I want to be a robot.

Ok here is another. It's ancient.

Other person farts make people smile and laugh. Never fails. They can cringe, but then the cringing people smile at each other.

Edit to add:
Ah, I see farts have been covered. You see. Everyone has been obsessed with fart jokes since forever ago.

Clear ice cold water is good.

Taco's are good.

PEZ are good.

These SUKKY commercials at the bottom of the screen are Not.... ?

....any thing else .....?

I'm not sure on that first one. I bartender as a side gig. The amount of people that ask for water without ice is astounding.

Tacos though. Those are always good.

I would think everyone could agree that oxygen is needed? Haha. Not much of an agreement.

But there are some who would want to deprive another of oxygen, therefore it’s not universally accepted as necessary.

That makes no since?

Just because some one would want to "deprive another of oxygen." Does not mean it's not universally accepted as necessary.

Everyone knows, and can agree that every human in the world has to have oxygen, water, and food. (not meat). the 3 most basic necessities for the survival of a human being.

So I would assume that that is really the only thing we could all agree on

Also agree to disagree

To me though, pretty much any solid fact with solid evidence backing the claim. Is stuff we can all agree on.

Like the grass is green. or the sky is blue.

Granted, you can always put a different perspective on things. But none the less, there should be plenty for everyone to agree on.

Good thought provoking thread

Every religion of the world has some form of the golden rule:

Baha’i Faith
Lay not on any soul a load that you would not wish to be laid upon you,
and desire not for anyone the things you would not desire for yourself.
Baha’u’llah, Gleanings

Buddhism
Treat not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.

Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself.
Confucius Analects 15.23

Hinduism
This is the sum of duty: do not do to others what would cause pain if done
to you.
Mahabharata 5:1517

Islam

that which he loves for himself.

Jainism

Scientists say this is the funniest joke in the world:

A couple of hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn’t seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: “My friend is dead! What can I do?” The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: “Just take it easy. I can help. First, let’s make sure he’s dead.” There is a silence, then a shot is heard. The guy’s voice comes back on the line. He says: “OK, now what?”

Gallows humor is universal.

Give it 20-30 years, and if the singularity, Artificial intelligence, and cybernetics technologies mature and come around in the manner we currently imagine they may, then you might even get your wish.

I would start saving the now all the same.

That’s a scary thought. And to think we’re on the brink of it. Everything being done with the development of AI right now will essentially dictate its eventual outcome.

It could be the greatest thing mankind has ever pursued, or the worst.

But there might be some that are ok with whatever AI turns out to be. They may argue that it’s the natural progression of our evolution. If it’s our own self-destruct button, then so be it.

Just because a religion says something doesn’t mean it is universally agreed upon. There are bad people kn the world who would do wrong to others, whether they’re a follower of that religion of not.

Regardless, great contribution and thanks for pulling all those up! Quality stuff!

There are extremely rare cases of people who are allergic to oxygen. What about people who want to kill themselves, is breathing still necessary in their eyes?
